SI Safari

The SI challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof is a color combo: olivgreen/red/ochre(really rost) it was supposed to be a warm, intensive combination, - black, white and chocolade brown were allowed as basics.

I was inspired to put out this colors, by our recent trip to Sambia/Africa where these colors were so present.

I also wanted to say 'thanks' to some folks we met there and so I made this card. I only had this, relativly small stamp from Unicorn, that would fit the theme and combined it with the flowers of Inque Boutique. Then I started to sponge and mess around with colors - actually it is a complete mix of several colors and my sponging was not very successful, full of spots and stripes.... I had to cover the areas with big defos and used the black stripe for that.... hope you still like the card.

Die SI auf dem Huehnerhof ist dieses Mal eine Farbkombination: olivgruen/rot/ocker, es sollte eine warme intensive Mischung sein, - schwarz, weiss und dunkelbraun waren als Grundfarben erlaubt.

Ich wurde zu dieser Farbkombination durch unseren kuerzlichen Urlaub in Sambia/Afrika inspiriert, wo diese Farben so gegenwaertig sind in Land und Natur.

Ausserdem musste ich noch ein Danke Karte machen, fuer jemand, den wir dort getroffen hatten und so suchte ich mir einen uralt Stempel von Unicorn raus, mit dem kleinen Loewenbaby und habe es mit den Blumen von Inque Boutique kombiniert. Dann fing ich an, mit verschiedenen Ockertoenen rumzumantschen und -wischen..... mein Gewische war noch nicht so gut und so musste ich den schwarzen Streifen zur Ueberdeckung der unschoenen Stellen anbringen... hoffe ihr findet die Karte trotzdem ein wenig schoen....
