Mal was ganz anderes....

Something very different than stamping, because I did not have time to stamp the last two days. Usually I give myself this one hour time out at my desk and its this hour, that keeps me running through the day - where I get my energies renewed... but sometimes life comes in our way.... these socks have been done throughout quite a period and it sounds funny, that in the midst of the summer heat, I am knitting, but for me it goes well with soccer LOL... habe ich heute zu zeigen, denn die letzten Tage kam ich nicht zum stempeln. Normalerweise goenne ich mir meine Stunde Stempel-Auszeit pro Tag um meine Energien wieder aufzutanken... aber manchmal klappt halt auch nicht. Diese Socken sind ueber die letzte Zeit entstanden... komisch, mitten in der Sommerhitze! ... aber fuer mich geht stricken und Fussball gut einher LOL

Fussball/patriotisch

Yesterday we had a 'flash-stamping' (making a card in one hour) at Stempelhuehnerhof - between the two important soccer games. First game was Germany- England... sorry my British friends, that we kicked you out, but I guess we will follow soon ...

So, the challenge was to make a patriotic and/or football card. When I saw that first, I thought 'nope, not for me' ... but somehow, I kept thinking, what could one use for stamps - what could you use for this challenge... again and again I concluded - nope, not for me.... then suddenly I had an idea.... I took the circle and a quote from PTI and played with our national colours.... simple, very simple, I would say below CAS nearly *giggle* but not so bad.... or? what do you say?

Gestern gabs zwischen den Spielen ein Blitzstempeln auf dem Huehnerhof - im ersten Spiel hatte Deutschland ja England geschlagen (hehe) und die Stimmung war entsprechen gut... noch, - wer weiss wie lange.... ich sag nur 'Argentinien'!!

Ich habe die Herausforderung nur erst relativ spaet gesehen... eine patriotischen und/oder Fussballkarte zu machen.... zuerst dachte ich 'neeee, nix fuer mich!' ... aber irgendwie hab ich immer weiter ueberlegt (kam ja auch nix im TV zum ablenken LOL)... was koennte man dafuer fuer Stempel nutzen - ich hab nix, vor allem nix was schnell geht, sagte ich mir immer wieder... dann daemmerte es mir - Farben, die Deutschlandfarben und in 15min wurde diese superschlichte ober-CAS Karte gemacht... zu CASig? Was meint ihr???

One more ... car race...

One more time I tried this 'Schiebekarte' from HERE ... and actually I thought I do the Waltzingmouse sketch with it - at least I started out with it... When I finished, I realised, that the 4 background squares were missing *dooh* - but at least it was a good inspiration!
I started out, thinking this circle in the sketch could be the base for a car race place - so I took the faux stiching from the set 'off beat backgrounds' and fixed it in a half circle and stamped in green and blue. The racing car from the set 'free spirit' was stamped in the same colours and cut out ... the tree and quote from 'asian garden'was added as background and when you open the card - the track is enlarged and quote can be seen.

Nochmals habe ich die Schiebekarte von hier versucht - eigentlich sollte es mit dem Sketch von Waltzingmouse kombiniert werden, aber irgendwie habe ich vor lauter Autos vergessen den HG vierzuteilen *oops*... aber es war eine gute Ausgangsinspiration ...
Als Ausgang nahm ich den Kreis des Sketches, denn ich mit der Faux Naht aus 'off beat backgrounds' zu einem Halbkreis legte und mehrmals in gruen und blau abstempelte... auch das Rennauto von 'free spirit' wurde in den gleichen Farben abgestempelt und ausgeschnitten. Der HG wurde mit dem Baum aus 'Asian garden' gestempelt. Wenn man die Karte aufzieht, verlaengert man die Rennbahn und der Spruch kommt zutage.

SI - Schiebekarte

At Stempelhuehnerhof the Saturday Inspiration is a technical card. The workshop for the great card can be found HERE and it is really easy to make! The decoration of the card needs some thinking, because you have two layers to fill - the outside of the card and the inner card.

I took my PTI 'Whimsical' and created a little scene outside and added a quote from PTI "on my coutch addition' The colouring is done with copics. They do make nice vivid colour results, but the bleeding to the back of the card usually bothers me - for this type of card, it is perfect, because the back is hidden.

Heute war es wieder Zeit fuer eine neue Stamstags Inspiration auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof. Dieses mal gab es wieder eine technische Karte nach einem Workshop HIER. Es ist wirklich nicht schwer, denn der Mechanismus ist ganz einfach. Das Dekorieren ist etwas schwieriger, da man zwei Seiten zum bestempeln hat - das aeussere und das innere der Karte - das braucht etwas Ueberlegung, aber gerade das ist ja Fun.

Ich habe das PTI Set 'Whimsical' genommen und eine kleine Szene kreiert und innen einen Spruch von PTI 'on my couch addition' verwendet. Angemalt habe ich diesmal mit Copics. Normalerweise mag ich die ja nicht so, da die Farbe immer auf die Rueckseite durchgeht. Bei dieser Kartenart ist das schoen innen versteckt, deshalb war es perfekt und schoene Farben ergeben die Copics ja.

Ich hatte Spass diese Karte zu machen und wuensche Euch ein wunderbares Wochenende - wir hatten heute schoenes Wetter, sonnig und nicht zuuu heiss... so macht Egypt Spass!!

Wedding Wishes

At Stempelhuehnerhof, the soccer World Cup challenge on the 23rd, gave a red card to colours!! (grey and soft brown is allowed) Now how I am going to do that!!!??? ... I quite had to think a bit and then I thought 'wedding' ... okay, I admid, there was a wedding card anywhy on my schedule and for that, I just used the challenge to get my mojo run....

The card base is done with a cuttlebug folder and then I took the rectancle out of the PTI set 'Note it' and the quote from 'Giga guide lines' ... the birds, branch and flowers are from Waltzingmouse Asian Set. I think a wedding card can be soft in colours - and I hope the receivers will like it! Oh and btw, did you know, that braun includes red?? Sure you did....

Auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof hiess es fuer die Fussball Weltmeister-Herausforderung am 232.06.- Rote Karte fuer Farben. (grau und helles Braun ist erlaubt) Ohweia, wie soll denn das nun wieder gehen... am Ende kam ich auf eine Hochzeitskarte - die kann ja zarte Farben vertagen und ich bin mir sicher, das braun rot beinhaltet, also.... (hehe) .... und ich gestehe jetzt mal, dass ich sowieso noch eine Hochzeitskarte brauchte und einfach die Herausforderung benutzt habe, es umzusetzen.

Die Grundkarte wurde mit dem Puencktchen Cuttlebug Folder embossed und der Rahmen und die Schrift sind von PTI. Die Voegel, der Zweig und die Blumen sind von Waltzingmouse ... und jetzt hoffe ich mal, das die Karte den Empfaengern noch gefaellt!

The lighthouse effect

At Stempelhuehnerhof the WC challenge on the 22nd was a 'lighthouse'! I don't have a lighthouse!! A real white spot in my collection of stamps!! So, I had to go with imagination... a lighthouse is red and white and striped ... Can you see the lighthouse now? The red and white stripes made with a Hero Arts stamp? ... the rest is a branch, (made with Waltzingmouse stamps) right in front of the lighthouse - obvious, isn't it? The cool thing about these blossoms is, that I have a punch that fits and it was so easy, to punch out the stamped images and to raise some of them on a 3d pads and gave the blossoms some sparkle with some Rhinestones. The sketch of SCS helped me, get me started.

After we won the game yesterday, everybody is in good mood and just hope we will make it further, but - to be honest- the performance was not so convincing... but let's hope it is tactic! (says someone who has no clue of soccer LOL)

Im Stempelhuehnerhof gehen die WM Herausforderungen weiter - ich bin mittlerweile etwas im Rueckstand und gestern wurde erst mal die vom 22.06. bearbeitet - 'Leuchtturm'! Ich habe KEINEN Leuchtturm!!! Ich kanns nicht glauben - ein weisser Fleck in meiner Sammlung, aber ich arbeite an der Ausbesserung.... So musste ich mir halt erstmal was einfallen lassen - ein Leuchtturm ist rot und weiss gestreift - also nahm ich den Streifenstempel von Hero Arts als Leuchtturm - der Zweig, aus einem Set von Waltzingmouse ist dann sozusagen vor dem Leuchtturm. Geht doch, oder??
Das geniale ist, dass ich zu diesen Blumen einen Stanzer habe und so konnte ich einige Blumen ausstanzen und auf 3D Pads setzen und sie ein wenig mit Glitzersteinen schmuecken. Geholfen hat mir auch der Mittwochssketch bei den Splitis.

Nachdem wir das Spiel gestern gewonnen haben, sind hier alle in bester Stimmung und ich hoffe mal, dass es noch weiter reicht - denn, um ehrlich zu sein, hat mich das Spiel nicht so ueberzeugt - aber hoffen wir mal, es war Taktik! (spricht jemand, der keinen Schimmer von Fussball hat LOL)

The challenges at Stempelhuehnerhof for the soccer World Cup continue! Here comes my take on 'Equator' - this one was really not easy. First it took me some of thinking - to remember, that I have a stamp of an ancient map... it was stamped, cut out, trimed a bit to size and the equator marked in red ;-)

Then I added the quote from Hero Arts and faux sewed it with a stamp from Waltzingmouse and sponged this panel. The airplanes from PTI where cut out and put on 3D pads. Since I wanted to make it a birthday card, two tickets were added inside from Clear Stamps.

Now lets cross fingers, that our dreams for our team will be fulfilled for tomorrow - if we don't win, that's it - we will drop out..... but we are still hoping to win..

Im Stempelhuehnerhof gehen die Herausforderungen zum Fussball World Cup weiter. Heute habe ich den 'Aequator' bearbeitet! Das war gar nicht so einfach, denn erstmal musste ich mich erinnern, dass ich noch einen Stempel mit einer alten Weltkarte habe LOL ! Den hab ich dann ausgeschnitten und dabei ein wenig reduziert (da war noch Schrift drumrum), dann den Aequator mit rot markiert. Der Spruch von Hero Arts wurde mit der Faux Naht von Waltzingmouse kombiniert und gewischt. Die Flugzeuge von PTI ausgeschnitten, silber angemalt und auf 3D gesetzt. Da es eine Geburtstagskarte werden sollte, habe ich fuer innen noch die Geburtstags Ticket von Clear Stamps gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und eingeklebt.

... und dann hoffen wir mal, dass sich unsere Traeume fuer morgen erfuellen und druecken unseren Jungs fuer morgen mal die Daumen und hoffen, dass wir nicht rausfliegen!

Bei uns ist es immer noch wahnsinnig heiss - die Hitze will und will nicht nachlassen. Inzwischen sind im Garten auch einige Blumen einfach verbrannt :( - na ich hoffe mal morgen wirds besser...

Surfing

Good evening everybody. We are BOILING in a heatwave... after we had only a few hours of relief, we just jumped from one heat wave to the next.... that was the idea to create this card... because we would love to jump rather from a cool water wave to the next!!

The start of this card was the sketch of Waltzingmouse Sketch Blog - again, I twisted it a lot *blush* and you guys at Waltzingmouse have all the right to kick me out! LOL But give me a try first, please, would you? Turn your sketch 90 Degree... consider my buttons for a bow... the hole is there and the stripe is there ...can you see it now?

All the stamps are from the set 'Free Spirit'. I really love those circles there and think they are great to emboss and sponge with different colours. I don't have a lot of sportive males around me, so I don't know how come I made this card - guess, because I was watching a film about South Africa cause of the soccer WC and they were talking about those wave riders - wow it looked impressive!! Back to my desk and stamping... I thought, that is it! The waves, the bubbles the surfboard... and the guy on the surf board is original a skater, but the skate board was removed with a cotton swap and he was placed on the board. The whole panel was raised, only the surfer is low. The black line is mirrored(again), I do not know why, but I like it better this direction ... inside the card, a quote of PTI, embossed - that was the only one, I have, that I thought, it would fit ....

Wunderschoenen guten Abend an alle - wir KOCHEN hier in einer Hitzewelle *stoehn* ... nachdem es fuer ein paar Stunden besser war, sind wir gleich wieder in die naechste Hitzewelle gestuerzt *nochmal stoehn* Das war die Ausgangsidee dieser Karte, den wir wuerden lieber von einer kuehlen Wasserwelle in die andere stuerzen! Wasser ist auch heute die Herausforderung auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof gewesen.... und beim Waltzingmouse Sketch Blog habe ich einen Sketch dazu gefunden. Wie ich darauf kam, so eine 'Sportkarte' zu machen, ist mir nicht klar, denn ich wuesste nicht wem ich sie schicken soll, irgendwie habe ich wenig sportliche Jungs im Umfeld.... wahrscheinlich kam es durch einen Bericht im TV ueber Suedafrika und Wellenreiten. LOL.

Zurueck an meinen Schreibtisch, nahm ich das Set von Waltzingmouse 'Free Spirit' und fing an. Die Kreise sind die Gischt... die schwarze Linie (die ich gespiegelt habe) ist die Welle mit vielen kleinen Wellen drauf. Das Surfboard ist auch im Set und der Mann darauf, ist eigentlich ein Skater, aber ich hab ihm sein Skateboard kurzerhand mit einem Wattestaebchen entfernt und ihn auf das Board gestellt. Die ganze Lage ist auf 3D Pads, nur der Surfer ist 'tiefer gelegt' LOL. Innen gabs einen Spruch von PTI, embossed.

Wuensche euch einen schoenen Abend, wir haben hier immer noch 38C und es ist 10 Uhr Abends - das ist nur mit Klimanalage auszuhalten....*seufz-stoehn*

One Layer

Over at 'A Passion for PaperTrey' the challenge is 'One Layer Cards'.

I saw recently many great cards in one layer technique, but when it came to make myself one, it was disastrous! Last night, a lot of paper flew into my trash *oops* - and many ideas were started and thrown over board again - nothing wanted to work! *dooh* At the end, I made a card, that did not convince me, -at all,- but I will show it here... I masked a label 10 die cut, stamped the wood background and sponged it. Then a twig from 'turning a new leave' was stamped in the empty space and the owl with the birthday wishes were also added. All one level! Some buttons were added. - Cute, lots of work, not convincing....

Then, in a flash, I took the 'birthday wishes' from Mega Guidelines, stamped them in red, added the circle from 'Round and About' in grey and added Rhinestones - FINISHED ! Less then 15min.... doooh... sometimes less is more.....

Have a nice Sunday.... at last our sandstorm stopped and we can be outside again!

Bei 'A Passion for PaperTrey' heisst die Herausforderung, eine Karte mit nur einer Lage zu machen! Ich habe in letzter Zeit viele schoene Karten in dieser Technik gesehen, aber als es nun darum ging, selbst eine zu machen, ging gar nix!! So kam es, dass letzte Nacht viele Papiere in meinen Papierkorb flogen und viele Ideen probiert und wieder verworfen wurden. Am Ende kam eine Karte raus - die mich nicht ueberzeugt. Ich nahm eine Label 10 Ausstanzung und habe sie auf eine Karte mit dem Wooden Background maskiert. Dann wurde ein Zweig und die Eule sowie der Spruch reingestempelt. Alles auf einer Ebene - auch einige Knoepfe durften dazu... suess, viel Arbeit, aber ueberzeugt hat es mich nicht ...

Dann in einer Blitzeingebung nahm ich die 'birthday wishes' aus Mega Guidelines, die wurden rot abgestempelt und dann den Kreis in den Hintergrund dazu in grau. Ein paar Glitzersteine dazu und FERTIG!... keine 15 min... manchmal ist weniger einfach mehr!

Although Germany lost badly yesterday *dooh* the World Cup Challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof will go on!! LOL Today random.com got us 'I like Indian Ocean' ... and from that, the theme 'pirates' was chosen.

Also it is Saturday and the SI is due - but because there are so many challenges in our forum going on, I decided it's time to wrap them all up and make a MEGAchallenge out of it. Everybody is challenged now to include as much as possible challenges from the ongoing challenges in ONE card/project!!! Hey, that should be fun!!!

When I sat down last night to start my card, I had completely different things in my mind - but the card developed its own path - my guide was the list of challenges, that I tried to squeeze in.

So here you see '11' birds(stampingduck), the leftover of a 'boat'(Moonlightstamp and PTI), with a 'round' rescue ring. 'Fishes'(Hein Design) that 'glitter' and since the boat sunk after the 'pirates' hit it - there is 'no motif' anymore! Heh - good?? count...you find 7 of our challenges included - I loved it!!

For a minute I was hesitant about the 11 birds - guess 10 would have been okay, since one of our players yesterday got a red card and had to leave the playground ..... but the game must go on! I just hope they will be better next play.... have a great weekend!

Obwohl die Deutschen gestern verloren haben, gehen die WM Herausforderungen im Stempelhuehnerhof weiter! Heute sprach random.com ...'I wie Indischer Ozean' und damit das Unterthema 'Piraten'!

Ausserdem ist heute Samstag und damit Zeit fuer ein neues SI. Da es im Forum im Moment sooo viele Herausforderungen gibt, habe ich beschlossen nicht noch eine dazu zu tun, sondern vielmehr alle zusammen zu fassen und eine MEGA-Herausforderung einzustellen. Aufgabe ist es, soviel wie moeglich der bisher eingestellten und noch offenen Herausforderungen in eine Karte/Projekt zu integrieren! DAS wird euch Spass machen, glaubts mir....

Ich habe mit ganz anderen Ideen im Kopf angefangen, aber die Karte hatte ihre eigene Energien. Mein Fuehrer war die Liste der Herausforderungen, die ich nach und nach versuchte einzubringen und das hat die Karte in viele Richtungen veraendert.

Hier koennt ihr nun '11' Voegel(Stampingduck) am Himmel sehen, sowie die Reste eines untergegangen 'Bootes' (Kombination aus Moonlight Stamps und PTI) mit einem'runden' Rettungsring. Unten an der Karte sind 'glitzernde' 'Fische' (Hein Design) und da das Boot gesunken ist, nachdem die 'Piraten' es gekentert hatten, ist es ja auch 'kein Motiv' mehr!! Heh - gut??? zaehlt - es sind 7 Themen, die ich hier integriert habe!

Bei den Voegeln hab ich ja etwas gezoegert - denke 10 haetten gereicht, denn gestern wurde ja einer unserer Spieler, per Rote Karte, vom Feld gestellt ... naja, das Spiel muss weiter gehen und so hoffe ich jetzt, dass das naechste wieder besser wird und wuensche euch ein schoenes Wochenende!

Diamonds

Today the World Cup challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof comes out of the category 'A like Africa' and brings us... what?? ... you girls know your best friends, right! DIAMONDS ... Some glitter had to be included in the card. That was easy for me *smile* I love a sparkle in a card!!!

Yesterdays challenge was 'R like Red Card' and excluded a motif - well, whats left??? I thought a pattern and writing....

These two things in my mind, I created this card. Love those 'Mega Guidelines' they are the best when it comes to patterns - I really played with colour and with Rhinestones and had FUN!!!

Heute heisst es im Stempelhuehnerhof fuer die WM Herausforderung 'A wie Afrika' ... und was bringt speziell Suedafrika fuer uns Maedels??? ... na eure besten Freunde???? Jaaa, DIAMANTEN!! Glitzer sollte auf die Karte, na das war einfach - ich liebe Glitzer!!

Gestern hiess es unter 'R wie Rote Karte' - die Rote Karte ging an ein Motiv - Was??? Eine Karte ohne Motiv?? Na was bleibt denn da?? .... mmh, ich dachte Muster und Schrift.

Mit diesen 2 Herausforderungen im Kopf, ging ich an die Arbeit. Schnell war klar, dass das ein Fall fuer die 'Giga Guidelines' von PTI war - und da konnte ich mich so richtig schoen mit Farbe auslassen. Die Glitzerbrads geben dem Ganzen einen letzten Schliff!

A blog waltz...

...at Waltzingmouse *yepeee* ... since I could not participate last time - I was eager to waltz along today and prepared early!

It all starts over at the Forum of Waltzingmouse and where ever you see this pic, you know you are right on your way ...

The challenge was, to make masculine cards/project. *Puuuh*, one of the most difficult things... men!!! Well, I tried to make a card - a project is far away for me - for a men - but may be through this bloghop, I will be convinced different, by looking at you wonderful projects ;-).

It is always easier, once you have a specific person in mind. Here it was my father, who loves blue and loves flowers. I started by using the circles and the hibiscus of 'Free Spirit' of Waltzingmouse. The circles are white embossed and sponged - the long black line had to be mirrored and the hibiscus was coloured and cut, some of them put on 3d pads -- but I decided at the end, this is a 'bi' card - it can work for a man or a woman, so I went and made another one....

This time, I had my husband in mind. He came home yesterday, after quite a long business trip, out of the country. I know he loves this racing cars, when he was young, he used to collect them. So again, I embossed the circles from 'Free spirit' in white, sponged them and trimmed them a bit right and left. Can you see now the cloud of fumes, that this car leaves, racing through the line back home??? The car was also cut out and raised with a 3D pad. The flag was made with a pattern from 'off beat back grounds' and a tooth pick. The quote is partly from SU and a Making Memorie Magnetic stamp set.

As much as husbands can express it - I think he liked it....

The challenges go on....

At Stempelhuehnerhof the challenges for the Soccer World Cup in South Africa are going on. I could make two more cards for it. At 'A like adventure' the challenge was 'safari' and under 'I like Indian Ocean' the challenge was 'boats'.

The first card was made with the tree from Waltzingmouse and the 'kissing' technique as required at Saturday Inspiration. The stem was 'kissed' with the wooden background from PTI. When we went to Sambia for our Safari, I found that the trees there were sooo impressive there. More wooden back ground of PTI was added and also a bit of glitter in the tree - as if the sunshine winks through the leaves! To make it a bit more safari -like, I added an elephant inside of the card and that wooden background works very well as the ground for the elephant.

The second card was made with a boat and quote from Moonlight Stamps. In the back the wooden back ground from PTI served this time as water - I like the way it came out. I do not like my colouring of the boat - the paper of PTI is not good for colouring, it absorbs the colour and the colour is difficult to distribute then. Well, I hope the buttons can make it up a bit!

Im Stempelhuehnerhof gehen die Herausforderung zur Fussball WM weiter. Diesmal hiess es unter 'A wie Abenteuer' - 'Safari' und unter 'I wie Indischer Ozean hiess es Boote'.

Erst mal hab ich fuer die Safarikarte den Baumstempel von Waltzingmouse genommen, denn Baeume haben mich auf unserer Safari in Sambia sehr beeindruckt! Dann wurde der Stamm wie in der SI-Herausforderung ' vorgeschlagen gekuesst mit dem 'wooden back ground' von PTI und hat so eine schoene Rinder erhalten. Auf die Blaetter des Baumes habe ich ein wenig Glitzer gegeben - gerade so, wie wenn die Sonne duch die Baeume blitzt. Damit die Karte dann doch noch ein wenig Safarie Tiere hat, wurde sie innen mit einem Elefanten verziert.

Die 'Boot-Karte' wurde mit einem Boot- und Spruchstempel von Moonlight Stamps gemacht. Leider ist das Papier von PTI wirklich ungeeignet zum Colorieren, es saugt die Farbe gaenzlich auf und man kann sie nicht mehr verteilen. Entsprechend ist die Coleration wirklich nicht dolle geworden! Ich hoffe der wooden back ground von PTI, der diesmal als Wasser eingesetzt wurde und die Knoepfe hauen es wieder ein wenig raus.

Sketch of Waltzingmouse and the World Cup challenges go on....

I think I twisted the sketch of Waltzingmouse Sketch Blog a bit, but can you still see the sketch, can't you? All stamps are WM-stamps... the bg is made with 'off beat background' and sponged on the corners. The center piece is made with flowers from 'Asian Garden' and 'Big Blooms' - all cut out and put on 3D. As the horizontal line of the sketch, I took the buttons and added some Rhinestones in the center of the flowers. Something was missing, so the bird cage was cut and added.... I did not want to add a quote - may be inside, later, once I know for what I will use this card!

I also used this card for the World Cup challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof. The theme there was 'the ball is round' - and round are my buttons and the Rhinestones.

Ich glaube ich habe den Sktech vom Waltzingmouse Sketch Blog ein wenig verdreht, aber man kann es doch noch erkennen, oder? Alle Stempel hier sind von Waltzingmouse... der HG wurde mit 'off beat background' gemacht und an den Kanten etwas gewischt. Das Mittelstueck sind Blumen aus 'Asian Garden' und 'Big Blooms' - alles ausgeschnitten und auf 3D aufgesetzt. Die Knoepfe bilden das Querteil des Sketchse und in die Mitte der Blumen wurden Glitzersteine gesetzt. Irgendwas fehlte mir noch und so habe ich den Vogelkaefig ausgeschitten und aufgehaengt. Da ich mich fuer keinen Spruch entscheiden konnte, hab ich es erstmal noch offen gelassen - vielleicht innen, wenn ich weiss wofuer ich die Karte verwende!

Die Karte ist ausserdem fuer die Weltmeisterschafts Herausforderungen im Stempelhuehnerhof, wo es gestern hiess, 'Der Ball ist rund!' ... rund sind bei mir die Knoepfe und die Glitzersteine.

SI + WM

Today's Saturday Inspiration at Stempelhuehnerhof is 'kissing' ... no, not frogs and princes... let your stamps kiss.... it's a great technique and in our post at Stempelhuehnerhof, you find many nice links how that works! Since the WorldCup is still going on (well just started) we have every day a challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof. So if you do not like football/soccer, -just like me,- then pass by... with Random.com we draw every day, out of our categories that are made by the letters A-F-R-I-K-A, a challenge... today is 'fishes' out of the category 'K' or 'C like Coasts'.

Here is my card,... kissed the Stampingduck linen BG with fishes from Heindesing and added a circle on 3D pads filled with SU fishes and a quote from CD. The circle is fixed with an office clip that I just bend a bit...

Die heutige Samstagsinspiration ist eine Doppelinspiration. Teil 1 ist 'kuessen' ... nein, nicht was ihr denkt, Froesche und Prinzen!! Nein, kuessen sollen sich zwei Stempel!!! In unserem Thread im Stempelhuehnerhof findet ihr ein paar tolle Links mit Anleitungen!

Teil 2 kommt aus der WM-Herausforderung. Jeden Tag werden mit Random.com ein Buchstabe gezogen, der fuer eine Kategorie steht... heute war es 'K' wie Kuesten- und damit 'Fische'.

Fische sind ja mein Thema und so fiel es mir nicht schwer. Gekuesst haben sich der Leinen-HG von Stampingduck mit den Fischen von Hein Design. Ich finde das gibt einen sehr realistischen HG, so als ob die Fische in der Tiefe, ganz weit hinten schwimmen! Der Kreis, ausgestanzt und auf 3D gesetzt, beherrbergt Fische von SU und einen Spruch von CDS. Das Ganze ist an einer verbogenen Bueroklammer aufgehaengt.

Red card for white!

The soccer challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof showed today a red card for white - what??? no white at all??? NO WHITE AT ALL!!

Since some time the set 'Wonderfully Whimsical' from PTI is on my desk and I am iching to use it - today was the day. I started out by stamping some of the houses on cream inches, then sprayed them with green glimmer mist (hard to see in the pic). Then I stamped the big house image on a craft cardstock direct, as well as some flowers and coloured with copics. This set is soooo versatile, you can play with all the images to create scenes - only the airplane(stamped on cream cardstock) and put on a 3D pad, is from the set 'Valentines Treats'. Some buttons had to be added and the flowers and the airplain trace were done in silver...

Die Fussball Herausforderung im Stempelhuehnerhof ist angelaufen. Gleich zu Anfang, bekam die Farbe Weiss die rote Karte .... gar kein bischen weiss??? NEIN, NIX, kein bischen!!

Seit einiger Zeit habe ich das Set 'Wonderfull whimsical' von PTI auf meinem Schreibtisch und will es ausprobieren. Heute kam ich endlich dazu! Am Anfang habe ich die Haueser auf creme cardstock inchies gestempelt und mit Glimmermist besprueht (sieht man leider im Bild nicht) und das groesse Haus wurde direkt auf den Kraft cardstock gestempelt und mit Vogel und Noten bestueckt und auch die Blumen sind ein extra Stempel -das Set ist klasse zum Szenen stempeln. Nur das Flugzeug ist aus 'Valentine Treats', die Flugline und das Schild wurden in Silber nachgezogen und noch ein paar Knoepfe zugefuegt!!

Wuensche euch einen schoenen Abend und ich freu mich schon auf morgen, auf die naechste Herausforderung....

It started...

The soccer World Cup started in South Africa, today ... and of course it infected and effected us as well *dooh* ... first of all I can not watch my German broadcast anymore, because it would show the games for free, and over here the games are all on pay channels - so they switched to a different 'Neo' version of the German TV *dooh*... then, when in Germany, I bought a ball for our dogs - and especially our male dog became absolutely obsessed with it *double dooh*!!! Playing is not always fair!!! and often I have to stand strong to protect our female, but she has her ways, you know... looser is the ball, definately - by any means!!

Enjoy the World Cup and if you are like me, you have lots of time for crafting now .....

Heute beginnt die Fussball Weltmeisterschaft in Suedafrika ... und natuerlich sind auch wir hier angesteckt um nicht zu sagen, erkrankt!!! *dooh* .... ab heute kann ich kein ZDF(der einzigste deutsche Kanal, den wir empfangen) mehr schauen, denn bei uns sind die ganzen Fussballkanaele nur gegen Geld zu haben. Damit jetzt nicht jeder ZDF schaut, wo es ja umsonst ist, musste ZDF auf eine ZDF-Neo Version umschalten - das stinkt mir gewaltig!!! ... Als ich in D war, hab ich meinen Hunden einen Ball gekauft und nun ist besonders unser Ruede, absolut auf dieses Ding fixiert (ja, selber schuld, ich weiss!!) Das Spiel ist nicht immer fair und des oefteren muss ich ganz schoen hinstehen als Schiedsrichter zwischen meinen Beiden - Verlierer ist der Ball, wuerde ich sagen....

Wenn es euch wie mir geht (nicht an Fussball interessiert!), dann habt ihr jetzt jede Menge Zeit zum Basteln ... schaut doch mal im Stempelhuehnerhof vorbei... dort haben wir jeden Spieltag eine Herausforderung eingestellt, um dieses Fussballfieber ein wenig ertraeglicher zu gestalten.....

Christmas

Wusstet ihr, dass wir es zur Haelfte geschafft haben??? Falls ihr bisher das Gefuehl hattet, Weihnachten liegt hinter euch - dann bereitet euch ab jetzt darauf vor, dass Weihnachten schwer auf euch zukommt!!! Mit anderen Worten, wir haben Bergfest auf dem Weg nach Weihnachten. Spaetestens jetzt, solltet ihr darann denken was zu tun!! Bereit???

Im Stempelhuehnerhof gibt es die Herausforderung 'Weihnachten das ganze Jahr' ... dort werden das ganze Jahr durch Weihnachstkarten produziert. Ich habe mir jeden Monat 3 Karten vorgenommen. Dies ist eine davon 8) .... diese Baeume sind mit PTI Stempeln gemacht und der Spruch ist von SU! Mit dem Goldstift wurden Akzente gesetzt.

Also 'Frohe Weihnachten' *kicher* ... und bis morgen wieder.... oder seid ihr alle mit der WM beschaftigt??? *dooh* ... na fuer alle die genervt ihr heil im Basteln und Stempel suchen wollen, weil ueberall und immer Fussbal laeuft, auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof gibts ab morgen taeglich eine Herausforderung fuer das Nichtfussballerseelenheil (tooles Wort, hehe!) Bis bald also...

Butterflies

At the HF - Stempelhuehnerhof the inspiration photo was a shoe, that was made out of lots and lots of butterflies!

Since I saw the pic I am debating with myself, ... should I or should I NOT.... cut that beautiful paper from Basic Grey! I am a collector at heart and it was sooooo difficult to start to use this block, but I told myself, no buying anymore, if you can't cut it ... that helped and I went ahead!

I am actually pleased with this card. I found out, that cards, that I keep simple and are done in a reasonable time, I give them much easier and often away, than cards, where I take hours and hours and then I really have to consider to whom I will give them at the end! So I believe, this card will be gone soon, because it is simple and took no time.

Der HF im Stempelhuehnerhof hat ein interessantes Foto gebracht, ein Schuh, der aus vielen Schmetterlingen gemacht wurde.

Seit ich das Bild gesehen habe, diskutiere ich mit mir selbst, ob ich den neuen Block von Basic Grey nun anschneiden soll oder nicht! Ich bin einfach ein Sammler und das Bloeckchen ist echt zuuu schoen um benutzt zu werden!!! Dann aber drohte ich mir selbst, indem ich mir sagte, nur wenn ich verbrauche, darf ich auch wieder kaufen *seufz* - das half ein wenig und so seht ihr nun hier die Schmetterlinge *seufz*.

Eigentlich bin ich mit der Karte zufrieden. Ich habe fuer mich festgestellt, dass ich die Karten, die ich simple und schnell gemacht habe - einfach schneller und leichter wieder weg gebe. Wenn ich dagegen Stunden an einer Karte sitze, dann faellt mir das viel schwerer. Na diese Karte wird dann sicher schnell weggehen, denn sie war superschnell gemacht (nachdem ich mich mal zur Zerscheidung entschlossen hatte)!!

For my husband!

My husband is going on a business trip - this means, the dogs and me are home, sitting and thinking and waiting for him ... nobody to tease, nobody to bother, nobody to fight.... I hope he will be back safe and soon... what is a soup without salt???LOL

This sets (On my couch and all it's additions) from PTI is just gorgeous and perfect for some cards, that I will tuck in between his shirts, to say hello from time to time. He loves red and since the felt elk (or moose or reindeer, or deer.. or whatever you want to call him) was such a success yesterday - I thought I stay in the same colour combo!

I cut the red felt with my new PTI scalloped border - the dog was a MUST and the quote is just perfect for us, cause it is a common word between the two of us and for this, a nice reminder... the chair was cut out and put on 3D pads . The wooden HG and the nails do give a nice rustic/male touch, doesn't it? Love it! .. and hope, so will he.

Mein Mann muss mal wieder auf Geschaeftsreise - d.h.meine Hunde und ich sitzen zuhause und denken an ihn - keiner hier zum necken, keiner zum aergern und keiner zum streiten - mmh, ich hoffe er kommt bald wieder gesund zurueck! Was ist eine Suppe ohne Salz?? LOL

Dieses Set (On my couch und all seine additions) von PTI ist sooo toll! Ideal um ihm ein Kaertchen zu machen und zwischen die Waesche in seinen Koffer zu stecken - nur um ihn ab und an mal an uns zu erinnern!! Mein Mann mag Rot und da der Filz-elch gestern so gut ankam, dachte ich mir, ich bleib mal bei dieser Farbkomi. Den Filz hab ich mit der neuen Stanze von PTI zugeschnitten - dann MUSSTE natuerlich ein Hund dazu und der Spruch ist so toll, denn den sagen wir oft so im Spass zueinander! Der Sessel ist ausgeschnitten und auf 3D Pads geklebt.

Der HolzHG von PTI ist auch echt super und muss sicher noch einige Male getestet werden, zusammen mit den Naegeln ergibt es einen rustikalen/maennlichen Look, oder? Mir gefaellt die Karte - und ich hoffe sie gefaellt ihm auch.

Wuensche euch eine schoene Woche - meine wird locker werden, denn es gibt jetzt keine Fixzeiten mehr, zu denen ich was tun muss, wie zB kochen. etc ... d.h.nur noch stempeln, schlafen, stempeln, essen und die Hunde beknuddeln.... LOL ....

Christmas and Waltzingmouse

On one hand, I really wanted to participate in the new sketch challenge blog of Waltzingmouse and on the other hand, I needed to continue with my Christmas cards, so I combined the two tasks and out came this card.

The sweet felt elk was a present from Anke for last Christmas and since the SI felt challenge on my desk - finally things came together.... but I still need three more Christmas cards for this month.... *sight*

As a last note... these are the muffins, that I made earlier this morning - God, are they good *dream* Cranberry/Orange muffins.... yummy.... the new muffin tray that I got in Germany was well worth it and now they do not only taste good, they are kept in good shape as well....

Ich wollte an dem neuen Sketch Challenge Blog von Waltzingmouse teilnehmen, ausserdem musste ich unbedingt an meinen Weihnachtskarten weiter arbeiten! Deshalb hab ich die beiden Herausforderungen kombiniert.

Den suessen Filz-elch hat mir Anke letztes Jahr zu Weihnachten geschenkt *knuddel* und er lag seit dem SI mit Filz bei mir auf dem Schreibtisch - jetzt kam alles schoen zusammen.
