Something green and A Muse Art charity calender

I wanted to tell all of you, that the download of A Muse Art charity calender 1010 is available - just like last year and even better! The money you pay, goes 100% to charity, so no doubt, you do something good, while you save yourself a lot of time!! Go to their webpage and read everything about the 'Water 1st' project, which is their charity project for this year.
This year there is a new, big version available in A4 size - I think this will be my yearly family calenders... I will use the back of the previous month to put my photos, this way, I have a big calendar and lot's of room for the photos(A4!), .... love it! But it will take some time....
When I got my download I just had to make a little project with it.... a little agenda, that I want to use for myself *yeah*.... on one side there is the calender on the other side, there is room to write your appointments - no excuses 'oh, I forgot' anymore....

Waltzing Mouse is having new releases... and by entering something 'green' and a lot of luck, I might win one of her new sets. Anyway, her sets are gorgeous and if I don't win, I might have to buy *dooh* - anybody knows, if shipping from England to Germany also will be charged customs?.

On a personal note, I have to tell you, that I will have to neglect my blog for some time. Life got in my way and we have lot's of problems with employees here these days.... which means in return, that the work load on me increases,... and this is, when you feel you have no mojo anymore.... so have a good time, until we see each other again....

Ich wollte Euch nur wissen lassen, das es bei Muse Art wieder die A Muse Art charity Kalender als Download gibt. Das Geld das ihr dafuer bezahlt, geht zu 100% an eine guten Zweck. In diesem Fall an das 'Water 1st' Projekt. Ihr koennt also gleichzeitig etwas Gutes tun und viel Zeit fuer Euch sparen. Dieses Jahr gibt es eine A4 Version, die find ich klasse und werde sie wohl fuer meine jaehrlichen Familienkalender nehmen..... man kann sie schoen binden und dann immer die Rueckseite des Vormonats mit Bildern bestuecken und hat dann ein wunderbar grosses Kalendarium (ja sowas wird wichtig mit fortschreitendem Alter!) ... Ich freu mich schon drauf, auch wenn es noch etwas dauern wird....

Als ich mein Download bekommen habe, hab ich aber jetzt erstmal was Kleines, - mit der A1 Version einen kleinen Terminplaner fuer mich selbst gemacht. Auf der einen Seite ist der Kalender und das Datum auf der anderen Seite ist genuegend Platz fuer die Terminplanung. Es war schoen durch all meine Stempel zu gehen und zu schauen, was passt zum Platz und was passt zum Monat.... ich habe dann auch jede Menge 'alte' Stempel verwendet und von den verschiedensten Firmen. Hier nur mal ein paar Seiten, alle waeren einfach zu viel....

Bei Walzing Mouse gibt es wieder neue Stempel, viele tolle Sets, die einen wirklich anmachen.... man kann eines dieser Sets gewinnen, wenn man etwas 'Gruenes' macht und gaaaanz viel Gleuck hat, denn es gibt schon viele Leute, die es versucht haben.... ich glaube wenn ich nicht gewinne, muss ich wohl kaufen *dooh* ... weiss jemand, ob man Zoll zahlen muss, zwischen England und Deutschland???

Nun muss ich euch leider noch mitteilen, dass es hier in naechster Zeit sehr, sehr ruhig werden wird. Wir haben enorme Personalprobleme, was bedeutet, dass ich mehr Arbeit auf mich nehmen muss.... da bleibt dann leider irgendwo die Muse auf der Strecke.... ich hoffe ich seh euch trotzdem immer mal wieder ein wenig... und finde auch ab und zu mal etwas Zeit fuer mein geliebtes Hobby, bis dahin, machts gut ....

SI -Christmas in September

Saturday Inspiration at Stempelhuehnerhof is to make a Christmas card... that was easy for me, I am doing them anyway all year along.... so here is one extra to the three I did so far every month... and I am so grateful to have already so many finished, since it already looks as if the end of the year is going to be quite hectic....

The poinsettias is stamped twice and cut out and put on 3D Pads... make a real nice effect.

Bei der Samstags Inspiration auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof heisst es diese Woche 'Weihnachten im September'... ein guter Pusch fuer viele, endlich mit der Weihnachtskartenproduktion anzufangen.

Ich habe ja das ganze Jahr, jeden Monat drei Karten gemacht und dies ist nun eine Extrakarte. Ich bin sooo froh, schon so viel Karten zu haben, da ich weiss, dass in den kommenden Monaten viel los sein wird bei mir.

Den Weihnachststern habe ich zweimal abgestempelt und dann ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt, das macht einen schoenen Effekt.

Hg ist von Moonlight Stamps, Weihnachtsstern von Inque Boutique und der Spruch von Stamping Duck.

Bicycle, ... I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike....

... do you know the song??? Making this card, I had that song in my mind all the time... we call it an ear worm in German..... so I had to finish the card, to get the song out of my brain....

The motif is from PTI, I got this one as a print from Basteltinchen, because we are both PTI fans and support each other in that. Thanks so much Tina. I really was missing the right sized buttons to go as for the wheels - I wanted to go to Cairo since some time and do some serious shopping, but never got to go there and I failed to make the buttons as it was described HERE (many others could actually do - so it was my personal problem).... hmpf.... so I decided to go for ordinary circles and flowers. Out came this card for a bike lover....

This card would fit in the CAS challenge at SCS and also for the new challenge at 'A Passion for Papertrey' to make a birthday card.

The bicycle is from PTI, the birthday quote from SU, the gras from Beeswax.

... kennt ihr das Lied??? Ich hatte es die ganze Zeit im Kopf, deshalb musste die Karte fertig werden, damit der Ohrwurm aus dem Kopf kommt!!

Das Fahrrad ist von PTI, ich habe es als Abdruck von Basteltinchen bekommen, weil wir beide PTI Fans sind und ein wenig darinn unterstuetzen. Vielen Dank Tina. Es fehlen mir eigentlich die richtigen Knoepfe, in der richtigen Groesse als Raeder dazu. Schon seit einiger Zeit will ich mal wieder nach Kairo zum Einkaufen und es klappt halt nicht, - dann hab ich versucht die Knoepfe nach DIESER ANLEITUNG zu machen, aber ich habs nicht hinbekommen (viel andere schon! Lag also an mir - oder meinem Kleber...)... deshalb habe ich mich jetzt am Ende entschieden, einfach Kreise mit Blumen fuer die Raeder zu nehmen .... und so entstand diese Karte fuer einen Fahrradliebhaber.

Die Karte passt ausserdem fuer die CAS Challenge bei den Splitis und fuer 'A Passion for Papertrey' eine Geburtstagskarte zu machen.

STOP ! !

Here comes my second take on the door hanger for my husbands office... hope this one is serious enough! Well, my hubby agreed on it, but I don't know, I got a feeling, that he is just a bit fat up with me and all my crafting *blush* - mmmh, may be he just wanted to get rid of me .... I used the same layout as in the post HERE, the red circle is on 3D pads and 'stop' is written with a cuttlebug alphabet... and I stamped the some PTI guidelines in light grey on the white panel, - there had to be SOMETHING stamped!! .... The buttons were not really my hubbys fave, but he accepted it, therefore I added some nails, he was pleased with them ;) .... and at the end I am satisfied how the whole thing turned out (although I still like the spider more)...

I will be back with a second post later.... so stay tuned - you can see our vacation after Ramadan and it's feast is over, my husband is back to work and I am in my crafting cave.... see you later....

Hier kommt mein zweiter Versuch, fuer den Tuerhaenger in das Buero meines Mannes... ich hoffe mal dieser Versuch ist nun serioes genug!! Mein Mann fands okay, aber ich weiss nicht, ein wenig hatte ich das Gefuehl, er hat die Nase voll von mir und meinen Bastelideen und wollte nur einfach die Sache zu Ende bringen und seine Ruhe haben *rot werd*

Ich habe das gleiche Layout benutzt wie HIER, der rote Kreis ist auf 3D Pads gesetzt und die Schrift ist ein Cuttlebug Alphabet. Der weisse Streifen ist mit PTI Guidelines in zartem grau bestempelt - ETWAS musste doch gestempelt sein, oder???.... Die Knoepfe waren wieder nicht so sein Ding, dafuer aber die Naegel(brads) ... ich muss sagen, am Ende gefaellts mir sogar (obwohl ich die Spinne immer noch schoener finde!)

Ich hab spaeter noch einen zweiten Post fuer heute... ihr seht, unsere Feiertage nach dem Ramadan sind um, mein Mann wieder im Buero und ich in meiner Bastelhoehle.... bis spaeter also...

A special card for our monkey friends...

Yes, we have monkey friends... LOL ... friends, that love monkeys and every year they try to convince us, to become also monkey friends and visit together another new monkey destination... LOL

So, the male part of our monkey-friend-couple is getting younger today *evil grin* ... Happy birthday Sameh, we wish you another happy monkey birthday today!!!

This card is supposed to be male and to be monkey... I have to thank Jan Tink for her gorgeous idea of this card... go and visit her blog and the workshop for this card, you will have a blast of a time!!! I would love to nominate her for the best workshop I watched, honestly a good one!!!

Ja, wir haben Affenfreunde ... LOL ... Freunde, die Affen lieben und die uns jedes Jahr aufs Neue - und mit viel Energie, zu einer neuen Reise zu den Affen ueberzeugen wollen! LOL!! Der maennliche Teil unseres Affen-Freundes-Paerchen hat heute Geburtstag - Happy Birthday Sameh.... wir wuenschen dir alles Gute zum Geburtstag und immer einen Affenbesuch in Aussicht.

Diese Karte musste also maennlich und affig werden... ich muss an dieser Stelle Jan Tink danken, fuer ihren wunderbaren Workshop, der dies moeglich gemacht hat!! Schaut euch den workshop und das Video an, es zeigt viel besser wie diese Karte funktioniert und ich finde ihren Workshop so herzerfrischend klasse... ich wuerde sie gerne, zum besten Workshop nominieren, den ich mir je angeschaut habe!

Doorhangers

When I visited my husband's office for the meal to break fasting in the evening, I found out, that he has a real ugly doorhanger (Do not disturb!) ... I thought of changing that and made him a new one. Well, - the guy is toooo serious and for that he told me, that the spider is not acceptable , because it is not serious enough! *grumble* I though, specially because his work is so serious - in fact everybody is much tooooo serious in his office,- it would have been nice if every now and then somebody would smile and if it is, by looking at that funny spider - but okaaaay - stay serious then ...

The boat was accepted, because his work involves the underwater world/diving/boots.....

So I guess I have to redo the 'Do not disturb' side... one day... ... ... he wants a 'stop' sign -argh - anybody has any suggestions for me, how to make THAT nice???????

Einen Abend hatten wir Fasten brechen bei meinem Mann im Buero. Dort musste ich feststellen, dass mein Mann einen wirklich haesslichen Tuerhanenger hat (Do not disturb!) ... ich dache ich mach ihm mal was netteres ..... aber er ist zuuuuu ernst und deswegen fand er die Spinne nicht serioes genug fuer sein Buero. Ich denke, die sind alle zu ernst und arbeitswuetig dort, es haette ihnen gut getan, ab und zu mal an dieser netten Spinne vorbei zu laufen und zu laecheln.... aber na gut....dann bleibt halt ernst und verbissen *pueh*

Die Bootseite war okay, da seine Arbeit die Unterwasserwelt/Tauchen/Boote etc beinhaltet konnte er das akzeptieren...

Na dann muss ich wohl die 'Do not disturb' Seite nochmal machen, mal sehen wann .... ... ... er will ein 'Stop' schild - argh ... hat jemand eine konstuktiven Vorschlag, wie man sowas schoen machen kann?????????

A little something...

Somehow I am stressed out.... it seems, that everybody here is stressed out in the moment, guess fasting takes it tribute, that 's why I have nothing really new to show here.....

This bagolope was made for two little girls, when we were visiting their parents for the evening - nothing big, a package for some marshmellows filled with chocolate -and this is the last thing I did crafting and that is already two days ago.... I don't know what happens to my time....

Irgendwie bin ich gestresset.... im Moment sind hier ALLE gestresst, das Fasten nagt an den Nerven,..... so Phasen kennt sicher jeder.... deshalb hab ich auch eigentlich nix Neues hier...

Dieser Bagolope wurde fuer zwei kleine Maedels gemacht, die wir zum Fasten brechen besucht haben, nur eine etwas schoenere Verpackung fuer eine Tuete Marshmellows mit Schoki gefuellt ... nix grosses, aber das letzte was ich gebastelt habe und das ist bereits 2 Tage her..... ich weiss nicht wo meine Zeit bleibt.....

Ooops, I knew it.... I knew it will happen!

Didn't I tell you .... I am always late .... *doooh,* - I knew there was something I should have done yesterday - but what was it......

Today, 6 o'clock in the morning, my dogs barked outside, so I got up to check on them and when I passed by the dining table I found, that my husband had put out a present for somebody... duuuh I remembered, I was supposed to make the card for it .... well *blush*

So it was a good thing, that my dogs woke me up so early (yes, they got their treat) and I still had time to make it up. I love kraft cardstock in the moment, this time I went for a combination with dark blue . The flowers and the pattern are from PTI Sets and the sentiments is from CDS , the sketch is Beate's weekend sketch.

Since it is still Ramadan and everything is rather late in the mornings, I even had time to make a little box, filled with chocolates (PTI template tucked away) and I already know, that the receiving person was very happy about it!

*Puuuh*, hab ichs nicht gesagt, dass ich immer zu spaet drann bin .... *oops*... ich wusste da war gestern noch was, was ich machen wollte - aber was war das nur......

Heute morgen um 6Uhr haben meine Hunde gebellt und mich geweckt. Also bin ich aufgestanden, um zu schauen was los ist und dabei kam ich am Esstisch vorbei, dort hatte mein Mann ein Geburtstagsgeschenk fuer jemand rausgelegt.... argh - da fiel es mir wieder schlagartig wieder ein, ich sollte die Karte dazu machen *rotwerd* .

Na ein Glueck haben mich meine Hunde so frueh geweckt und es war noch Zeit (ja sie haben eine Belohnung dafuer bekommen *lach) .

Ich habe gerade einen Fabel fuer die Farbe 'kraft' (grau-braun), deshalt habe ich sie diesmal mit dunkelblau kombiniert. Die Blumen und die Muster sind von PTI und die Geburtstagsprueche von CDS und der Sketch ist Beate's Weekend Sketch...

.... da im Ramadan alles etwas spaeter ist, hatte ich sogar noch Zeit, eine kleine Schachtel (von PTI Tucked away) zu machen, die mit Schoki gefuellt wurde. Die Empfaengerin hat sich bereits sehr darueber gefreut.

Last Christmas card for this month?... or not????

This is my third Christmas card for this month and therefore I fulfilled my own private challenge to make three cards a month! ...but.... (but, there is always a but, isn't it?).... since I know already, that the next two month are going to be more tense and stressful, I will try to continue and make some more in advance.....

This one the BG is made with 'guideline two' set from PTI and the sentiment is from PB. The sketch was taken from SCS as well as the challenge to make a 'red'card.

Dies ist meine 3. Weihnachtskarte fuer diesen Monat und somit hab ich meine ganz private Herausforderung, 3 im Monat zu machen erfuellt. ... aber... (es gibt immer ein aber, oder?) ... da die naechsten zwei Monate wohl etwas hektischer werden, mach ich lieber weiter und schonmal ein paar Karten im vorraus....

Bei dieser Weihanchtskarte hier, wurde der HG mit dem 'guidline two' von PTI gemacht, der Spruch ist von PB. Der Sketch von den Splitis, genau wie die Herausforderung eine rote Karte zu machen.

Habt ein schoenes Wochenende, besonders den Mekka-besuchern viel, viel Spass!

Getting ready for some birthdays...

There are some birthdays coming *sight* and to be honest, this template from PTI is since some time on my desk, but somehow, I could not find a beginning... I like 'white' in the moment and I like 'kraft'... - the new 'in' colours want to be tried out... - the hole thing is supposed to end up as a present for a male... - okay, okay, by that point, I usually turn away from my desk - tooooo much of ideas and inspiration can kill the mojo....

But the pressure increases, the birthdays are coming,... and I am always late *blush*

Surfing through the blogs I deceided to make something simple (its supposingly for a man, right!) and also deceided, to make the card in CAS Style... I took a sentiment of PTI's heartprints (just love it!) and put the focus on it. I added some stars on 3D pads around (PTI star prints) and cuttled the side of the panel, a ribbon was added, some piercing ... somehow, those buttons and a rhinestone sneaked in.... mhh - not sure if it is still male now *blush*.....

As for the box, it had to be in the same style now. So I stamped a border with 'guidlines two', again some stars and a quote from the star set. To have a male feel, I added some twine, instead of a ribbon. Guess I will fill it with some chocolates then....

Since I really love the colors, I will submit the project to - 'cherished color' of 'a passion for Papertrey - blog

Es kommen ein paar Geburtstage auf mich zu *seufz* und seit einiger Zeit liegt der Ausdruck der PTI Box (tucked away) bei mir auf dem Schreibtisch. Irgendwie konnte ich keinen Anfang finden, ich mag 'weiss' im Moment sehr und auch die Farbe 'kraft' (grau-braun)... die neuen 'in' Farben wollte ich auch mal ausprobieren, das Ganze solle auch noch maennlich werden.... okay, okay, an diesem Punkt hab ich meinen Schreibtisch dann wieder verlassen, zuviel Ideen und Eingaben koennen sich erdruckend auswirken aufs kreieren ....

Aber der Geburtstag rueckt naeher und naeher und der Druck wird immer staerker,... ich bin ja immer irgendwie spaet drann *rotwerd*...

Also bin ich blogsurfen gegangen und habe dann beschlossen, was im CAS Style zu machen (passt doch zu Mann, neh?!) Erst habe ich den tollen Spruch aus dem PTI Set heartprints hergenommen und einfach ein paar PTI Sterne auf 3D Pads dazu gemacht. Die Seite am Spruch wurde noch gecuttled, etwas piercing und ein Band dazu - fertig.... mmmh irgendwie sind dann noch die Knoepfe und der Glitzerstein reingerutscht, ob es nu noch maennlich ist????

Die Box musste nun dazu passen, also hab ich mit den Guidelines two ein Band draufgestempelt und dann wieder Sterne dazu und ein Spruch aus dem Sternenset. Damit es ein bischen maennlich wirkt hab ich nun statt dem Band ein bischen Bindfaden genommen. Ich denke ich fuell die Box dann mit ein paar Schokis....

Da mir die Farben wirklich gut gefallen, werde ich dieses Projekt bei der Challenge 'cherished color' auf dem 'A passion for Papertrey-Blog' einstellen.

So nun hab ich viel zu lange gelabert und lass euch gehen, vielen Dank fuers vorbei schauen und zuhoeren... und bis bald wieder!

SI - endless....

Over the last few days, I was sitting on an endless card! ... at 'Saturday Inspiration' of Stempelhuehnerhof, Heidi was in charge this time. She made a great workshop for endless card and finally, even me made it, to be endless....

I was a bit suspicious that I will make it, so I took at least a familiar colour combo - that always helps - , but I have to say, the workshop made it really easy, peasy.... next I was a bit lazy, instead of making lots and lots of small panels, I rather stamped the bg and concentrated on the center pieces! Still it was a lot of work and more or less (with limited time now) it took me three day!!!!

I am satisfied with the outcome, but since I don't know for which occasion this card will be used, I tried to keep it a kind of neutral... the only thing which was not so well done, that I used a lot of embellishment, which made the card in return a bit thick and heavy... but still okay.

Stamps used are from Hero Arts, PTI, Stampendeus and Flamingo.

Die letzten drei Tage bin ich ueber einer endlosen Karte gesessen! .... Heidi hatte diesmal die 'Samstags Inspiration' auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof uebernommen und eine Endloskarte vorgeschlagen. Dazu gab es einen ganz super Workshop von ihr, der es einem wirklich einfach gemacht hat. Ich hab dann trotzdem mal eine Farbkombi genommen, die mir vertraut ist, einfach weil es einem den Einstieg erleichtert. Dann war ich aber doch wieder faul und anstatt viele kleine Stuecke zu puzzeln, hab ich mich auf das 'center piece' konzentriert und den hg einfach nur in weiss dazu gestempelt. Trotzdem war es immer noch jede Menge Arbeit und es hat mich drei Tage gekostet (besonders da ich im Moment nicht so viel Zeit habe!)!

Mit dem Resultat bin ich zufrieden. Da ich noch nicht weiss, fuer was fuer eine Gelegenheit diese Karte verwendet wird, habe ich sie mal relativ neutral von den Spruechen gehalten. Das Einzigste, was vielleicht nicht so gut war, ist das ich recht viele 'dicke' Embellis verwendet habe, das macht die Karte insgesammt etwas dick und schwer... aber immer noch okay!

Christmas the second

One more Christmas card, for my own personal challenge. This card is since some days on my desk and finally I could finish it. I is again with the 'framed mask' technique . The stamps are from Artemio. Enjoy your weekend.

Noch eine Weihnachtskarte fuer meine Weihnachtskarten das ganze Jahr Herausforderung. Diese Karte liegt nun schon eine ganze Weile auf meinem Schreibtisch und ist auch mit der 'maskierter Rahmen -Technik' gemacht. Die Stempel sind von Artemio.

A sanded sketch

I was just finishing up my card for the sketch of yesterday ( SC244) when I realized, that it would also fit with WT234, to make something with sand or sand paper. I sanded the cuttled bg with the leaves. I have seen Nicole Heady using the flowers of the PTI Set 'life' this way and liked it so much. Had to try that out, since I own that set. I also applied her rule of 'three' and added white dots in the center of the flowers(3x white - faux stiching, panel of quote and ceter of forers). Still the card remains a simple one, that was fun to make.

Ich hatte gerade meine Karte fuer den Sketch SC244 von gestern fertig, als ich realisiert habe, dass es auch fuer WT234 von heute passt. Man sollte etwas mit Sandpapier bearbeiten, bei mir ist das der gecuttelte HG mit den Blaettern. Die Idee die Blumen aus dem PTI Set 'life' so zu stempeln hatte ich bei Nicole Heady gesehen und da ich dieses Set besitze, wollte ich es mal ausprobieren. Ausserdem habe ich ihre dreier Regel angewandt und auch noch den Blumen einen weissen Punkt versetzt (jetzt 3x weiss - faux Naht, weisser card stock bei 'thank you' und Blumenmitte). Es soll nur eine einfache Karte sein und hat mir Spass gemacht.

Masked Frame

TLC236 at SCS was to make a masked frame. I found this an interesting technique... my first card was a Halloween card with a set, that did not reach me in time, for last year's Halloween and hasn't been used therefore. I stamped the witch first and then covered it with a round cut out circle... then continued to stamp the spider web. around. Then I masked with a little bit smaller circle again and created so the black circel. It is a fun technique, although I have to say, with the first card I quite struggled.
Today, the new month started and I need to make another three Christmas cards, so I deceided to use this technique for my first Christmas card of the month. This time it went much easier and I am more statisfied.

The Halloween card is made with a set from Inkadinkado and the Christmas card with a set of Artemio.

Bei TLC236 bei den Splitis sollte man einen maskierten Rahmen machen. Ich fand das ist eine klasse Technik und die Frauen dort hatten viele Ideen die Rahmen zu gestalten. Mein erster Versuch wurde eine Halloween Karte, mit einem Set, dass mich letztes Jahr zu spaet erreichte und deshalb noch nicht richtig benutzt wurde.

Fuer den Rahmen wurde die Hexe in die Mitte gestempelt, dann ein ausgestanzter Kreis aufgelegt und dann das Spinnennetz drumrum gestempelt. Dann wurde nochmals mit einem etwas kleineren Kreis maskiert und der schwarze Kreis so geschaffen. Bei dieser Karte hab ich irgendwie doch noch ziemlich gekaempft, besonders mit dem schwarzen Kreis, der nicht so gelungen ist :?

Da heute ein neuer Monat angefangen hat und ich nun wieder drei Weihnachtskarten machen will, hab ich die gleiche Technik mal zu einer Weihnachtskarte verarbeitet, diesmal gings schon besser - Uebung macht den Meister.

Beim der Halloweenkarte hab ich ein Set von Inkadinkado benutzt und bei der Weihnachtskarte ein Set von Artemio.
