SI - Acryl Block Technique

Last Saturday the challenge at SI-Stempelhuehnerhof was, to stamp with your Acrylblock. Just tapp your stamp pads on it and spritz a bit of water on top and press it on your paper. Effects are various and beautiful! I used my long Acryl block and different shades of green, then added a Christmas motiv from Artemio and dropped some red glitter and golden drops on the whole image. Since I was in Christmas mood, I made another one, with stamps from WMS. Enjoy!

Die SI Herausforderung im Stempelhuehnerhof am letzten Samstag war mit dem Acrylblock zu stempeln. Einfach sein Stempelkissen auf dem Acrylblock abdruecken in verschiedenen Stempelfarben,( hier habe ich verschiedene Gruentoene genommen) und dann etwas Wasser drauf sprayen. Es gibt immer unterschiedliche und schoene Effekte! Ich habe meine langen Acrylblock genommen und ein Motiv von Artemio, dann noch roten Glitzer und Gold drauf gekleckert. Bild ist leider nicht toll, denn hier ist seit Tagen Nebel, Nebel, Nebel..... *grummel*

Weil ich schon am Weihnachtskarten machen war, hab ich gleich noch die Stempel von WMS ausprobiert und ein Gloeckchen verarbeitet. Ein toller Effekt und manche Karten uebergibt man ja auch per Hand...per Post waere es schwieriger....

Wuensch noch einen schoenen Tag und das die Sonne sich noch durch den Nebel bohrt....

...und auch noch ne Weihnachtskarte....

Mein zweiter Post fuer heute ist eine Weihnachtskarte, die ich mit meinem neuen WaltzingMouseStamps gemacht habe. Neue Stempel sind einfach immer seeehr inspirierend!!

..und Weihnachten kommt jetzt soooo schnell naeher - also schnell, schnell noch mehr machen!

SI - Wohnen (Living)

Yesterday's challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof was about, that the days are getting shorter and outdoor living less - so we concentrate more into our houses again. We were supposed to show, what are we doing inside - crafting, cleaning, .... I thought about a cuddely sofa, that one is getting comfortable on! ... and used this for a birthday card for my niece... I am not so sure how she will like the sofa *giggle* may be this is more the idea of an older person! So I hope the sparkel, that was added to the card, will make it up!

Gestern hiess die Herausforderung im Stempelhuehnerhof 'Wohnen'. Jetzt wo die Tage kuerzer werden und man sich wieder mehr drinnen konzentriert, sollen wir umsetzten, was man drinnen so machen kann, ...basteln, putzen,.... mir fiel sofort ein, auf einem kuscheligen Sofa zu sitzen. Die Karte ist fuer meine Nichte und da bald Geburtstag hat. Ich weiss nicht, ob ihr ein Sofa so gefaellt, denn mit 14 wird man wohl nicht so sehr ans 'aufm Sofa sitzen' denken, aber ich hab noch Glitzer hinzugefuegt und hoffe, es gefaellt ihr trotzdem.
