SI Voegel und Beate's Weekendsketch

This week, the challenge at SI Stempelhuehnerhof is 'Birds" ... this is my card for it. I had many obstacles on the way.... and the card did not turn out the way I wanted it to be,...may be I will try another one....

I used the birds from Bee Wax, the quote is from Hero Arts and the BG is from a Folia Clear Stamp Set.

Diese Woche heisst das Thema bei SI auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof - 'Voegel'. Irgendwie lief mir die Karte nicht gut und ich hab ziemlich gekaempft....vielleicht mach ich noch eine Andere...

Ich habe die Voegel von BeeWax benutzt, der Spruch ist ist aus einem Hero Arts Clear Stamp Set und der HG ist aus dem Folia ClearStamp Set

Halloween and Fishes

This is the last one from my Halloween-fever last night.... it was too late to take a photo, so I did it early in the morning.... the spider is from Penny Black, as well as the circel with 'thinking of you'.... with the punched spiders in the circel it sounds rather like a thread *ggg*, doesn't it?

Dies ist die Letzte von meinem gestrigen Halloween-Fieber...es war zu spaet, gestern noch zu fotographieren und da hab ich es heute frueh gemacht... die Spinne ist von Penny Black, genau wie der Kreis mit 'thinking of you'. Mit dem ausgestanzen Spinnen darinn, hoert es sicher nun eher wie eine Drohung an, oder? *ggg*

I got this print of a PB stamp recently as a present and I really liked it.... yesterday I put it out for WT181 at SCS, but got taken away by my Halloween stuff... so today, early in the morning (and I mean EARLY in the morning, because we changed the clock in Egypt and my inner clock is totally messed) I sat down and did it.... it also works for the SI challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof to use eyelets.

BG is from Hein Design and Best fishes is written with Making Memories Magnetic Set.

Vor kurzem habe ich diesen schoenen Abdruck von Penny Black geschenkt bekommen und er gefaellt mir wirklich gut.... gestern habe ich ihn vorgeholt um ihn fuer WT181 bei den Splitis anzumalen, dann hat mich aber das Halloween Fieber ereilt .....heute morgen wurde die Uhr in Egypt umgestellt, deswegen war ich schon SEHR frueh auf und da hab ich den Abdruck angemalt und verarbeitet... da so viele Eyelets drauf sind, passte es auch zu SI-Eyelets auf dem Huehnerhof.

Fever

Halloween gets me like a fever --- every year it is the same --- once I start, I have to force myself to stop again, I just love the spooky, creepy, yet sweet stuff. This beautiful stamp from Penny Black 'Scare in the air' is new to me, although I bought it used, so this is my first card with it. I colored the image with Polychromos and baby-oel and sponged it with Distress spiced marmelade. I don't have a lot of quotes for Halloween, the season is just too short... so I wrote this one myself, well, this one was not difficult to write *ggg*. The cats and the bats are punches...and although it is not too obvious, the grey cardboard is sponged with black and since I have the right tool, it had to be pierced along the sides.

Ich bin im Halloween Fieber --- jedes Jahr das Gleiche und aufs Neue --- ich liebe diese gruseligen, witzigen und dennoch suesse Sachen. Diesen schoenen Stempel von Penny Black 'Scare in the air' habe ich gebraucht gekauft und dies ist meine erste Karte damit. Angemalt habe ich mit Polychromos und Babyoel und gewischt ist es mit Distress, spiced marmelade. Ich hab kaum Sprueche fuer Halloween, irgenwie ist die Saison ja immer so kurz, deswegen habe ich den hier selber geschrieben, na das war ja nicht zu schwer *ggg*. Die Katzen und Fledermaeuse sind ausgestanzt und eigentlich ist die graue Lage auch noch schwarz gewischt, kommt nicht so richtig raus hier und dann ist sie noch an den Seiten lang gelocht.... jetzt mit dem richtigen Werkzeug geht das ganz einfach.

I love Halloween, may be because I love sweets *blush* .... and since I started to see so many Halloween cards, I wanted to do one myself..... used the Penny Black 'dressed to scare' and Hero Arts 'Boo'.... colored with Polychromos and cut with scalloped squares from Spellbinder....and it fits in the WT132, last weeks Thursday challenge at SCS.... have a Boo-tiful day....

Ich liebe Halloween, vielleicht weil ich so gerne Suesses esse *rotwerd*.... und weil nun ueberall die Halloween Karten rauskommen, hab ich Lust bekommen eine zu machen... ich habe den Penny Black 'dressed to scare' benutzt und von Hero Arts den 'Boo'... angemalt wurde mit den Polychromos, zum ausstanzen habe ich die Spellbinders (gewellten Quadrate)benutzt...ausserdem passt es zu der Donnerstags-Inspiration bei den Splitis..... have a Boo-tiful day...

... I guess we are getting close to Chrismas *ggg*....I used the sketch from SCS and my Inkadinkadu Clear Stamp Set...thought this snowman ist realy a cool guy, he would definatly melt here in Sharm... right now we have already 40C outside and it will still go up by noon....

... na sowas Nr. 4... wir naehern uns wohl Weihnachten *ggg*.... ich hab den Sketch von den Splitis ausprobiert und das Inkadinkadu Clear Stamp Set dazu genommen....der Schneemann schaut so richtig schoen kalt aus.... der wuerde hier garantiert schmelzen, wir haben jetzt bereits 40C und das geht noch hoeher zum Mittag hin...

Inspiration from Beate

I am so happy, Beate is back, her inspiration pieces and sketches make me always explore new things .... in this case, I would have never used orange with red an black.... but on the other hand I always thought, black and red, with this poppy-flower, makes it a bit like a sympathy card. Now, with the orange, it looks somehow more gay :-) .... When I saw the inspriation, I knew I want to use the poppy from Paper Inspiration and I knew I want the quote from Lelo Design.... but reality turned out very difficult, because the two things are a bit too big to fit on a small 10,5 x 10,5 cm card.... but at the end, I did it, though it was a fight.... and on the way, a lot of paper went into the bin.

Ich freue mich, dass Beate wieder zurueck ist. Mit ihren Inspirationen und Sketchen, lerne ich neue-andere Wege zu gehen.... in diesem Fall, ... ich haette niemals orange mit rot und schwarz kombiniert.... obwohl ich immer das Gefuehl hatte, dass rot und schwarz mit dieser Mohnblume so ein wenig Trauerkarten -maessig aussah. Mt dem Orange dazwischen, ist es nun irgendwie froehlicher. .... Als ich die Inspiration sah, wusste ich, dass ich den Mohn von Paper Inspiration nehmen wollte und den Spruch von Lelo Design.... die Verwirklichung war aber dann sehr schwer, weil beides zusammen ein wenig gross fuer eine 10,5 x 10,5cm Karte ist... aber, am Ende habe ich es geschafft, obwohl eine Menge Papier in den Papierkorb gewandert ist...

Christmas - August #3

I did it again,... can't believe it... #3 for this month.... I can't complain this month, I had new stamps for Christmas and that made it all easier ..... this image is out of my new Penny Black Clear Stamp Set.... colored with Polychromos... for the BG I used the cuttlebug folder with musical notes, but it is not so obvious, because it is covered from the main image....

Ich habs mal wieder geschafft, ... kaum zu glauben... Nr3 fuer diesen Monat ist fertig. Diesen Monat kann ich mich nicht beklagen, denn ich hatte neue Stempel und das macht es einem doch einfacher. Dieses Image ist aus dem Penny Black Clear Stamp Set ... angemalt mit Polychromos und im Hg ist der Cuttlebug Folder mit Musiknoten, leider nicht sehr zu sehen, da vom Hauptmotiv ueberdeckt....

...one more Faux Dry Embossing

I really had fun and tried it today in the morning again.... used the birds from beewax and a quote from Gina K. in the BG again a Cuttlebug folder... I first stamped the image with Brilliance Moonlight White and then one more time, just 1mm moved in Adriondack Latte.... it feels now a bit, as if there is snow on the tree... but with the rose, it just did not make a Christmas card...and I am so happy to use the crystal brads - just love the sparkel they make on the card! The edges of the ovals are distressed... but I am not very good in using that tool...

Diese Technik macht mir wirklich Spass.... ich habe diesmal die Voegel von Beewax und einen Spruch von Gina K. benutzt, im HG ein Cuttlebug Folder..... zuerst habe ich die Voegel mit Brilliance Moonlight White gestempelt und dann mit nochmals, 1mm versetzt, mit Adriondack Latte....es schaut nun ein wenig aus, als ob Schnee auf den Zweigen liegt, aber mit dem Rosa, konnte ich es einfach nicht in eine Weihnachtskarte verwandelt bringen....ich hab mich gefreut, endlich mal wieder die Crystal Brad anzuwenden - ich liebe diesen Funken auf der Karte! Die Kanten von den Ovalen sind distressed,... aber ich habs noch nicht so raus mit diesem Teil zu arbeiten...

Faux Dry Embossing

This is a neat technique that was introduced at SCS in the Try a new Technique Section ... I just had to try it out and will definatly give it one more try.... I used the Clusters from PB and in the BG is a cuttlebug folder, quote from SU.

Diese Technik wurde heute bei den Splitis bei Try a new Technique vorgestellt... ich habs mal ausprobiert und es hat mir gut gefallen.... ist bestimmt nicht meine letzte Karte damit.
Benutzt habe ich den clusters von PB und einen Folder von Cuttlebug, sowie den Spruch von SU

SI - Eylets

SaturdayInspiration at Stempelhuehnerhof is to work with eylets. I was so happy, to use my new Jumbo Eyelets. ... also for the first time I used my new stamps form GinaK.... saw them several times at SCS and had to have them.... the owls are cut out and put on 3D Pads....

SI im Stempelhuehnerhof ist mit Eyelets zu arbeiten..... ich hab mich gefreut, gleich meine neuen Jumbo Eylets zu verarbeiten.... ausserdem hab ich meine neuen Stempel von GinaK zum ersten Mal verarbeitet, hatte diese Eulen bei den Splitis gesehen und musste sie einfach haben ;-) .... ging auch alles glatt mit der Bestellung in Amerika .....die Eulen sind ausgeschnitten und auf 3D Pads gesetzt....

Two challenges

I needed a male card for a friend of ours, that went with us on the safari to Zambia. It was clear that I will take the leopard, I already stamped the image, but then got stuck. Then I saw Beate's sketch and just knew how to continue... it is also for the challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof for the Olympic games Sawaziland, hope they have leopards there as well....

I brauchte eine maennliche Karte fuer einen Freund, der mit uns in Sambia auf der Safari war. Ich wollte den Leopard benutzen und hatte ihn auch schon abgestempelt, kam dann aber nicht weiter. Als ich den Sketch bei Beate auf dem Blog sah, machte es dann 'klick'.... ausserdem ist es fuer die Olympischen Spiele Inspiration auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof, dort hatte ich es fuer Swaziland gedacht, ich denke mal die haben dort auch Leoparden....

finally I got to make the card for the SI challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof..... and a Christmas Card as well - this one turned out a bit too green, but I love the stamp... I am awfully late and behind everything....

Endlich habe ich fuer das SI im Stempelhuehnerhof die Stehkarte geschafft .... und auch noch eine Weihnachtskarte fuer meine 3 Weihnachtskarten pro Monat - diese ist mir ja selbst ein wenig zu gruen geworden.....aber der Stempel ist so toll, damit muss ich nochmal was probieren....na ja ich muss noch so einiges aufholen ...
