Happy Halloween

Another present, this one was also for a birthday and it was (as usual) late... so I deceided to change it to a Halloween present....I showed the card before, now I added some Vampire Blood - mmmmh goood!!

I love the sets from WMS - especially the Halloween stuff! Happy Halloween!!!

Das naechste Geschenk ist eigentlich auch ein verspaetetes Geburtstagsgeschenk - so spaet, dass ich beschloss, es in ein Halloween Geschenk umzuwandeln. Die Karte dazu hab ich hier ja schon gezeigt das zu gabs noch - mmmmh Vampirsblut - lecker!!! Claire's Halloween Sets sind einfach genial!!!

SI - Center Step Card

This week our Saturday Inspiration at Stempelhuehnerhof is a Center Step Card. It looks difficult but really is not.

When looking at the how to do it (Workshops at SCS or Stempeleinmaleins) it came to my mind, that these would be very nice place cards! I took roughly half of the measurements and my new stamps from WMS and made these place cards.

Im Stempelhuehnerhof heisst die Samstagsinspiration diese Woche Center Step Card. Es schaut kompliziert aus, aber ist es echt nicht. Workshops findet ihr bei SCS oder Stempeleinmaleins.

Als ich mir anschaute wie die Karten zu machen sind, kam mit spontan die Idee in den Kopf, dass diese gut als Tischkarten verwendet werden koennten. Ich habe so grob die halben Masse genommen und meine neuen Stempel von WMS.

A belated present...

These days, I was finally able to finish some presents, that were due since a long, long time. I am happy, that they have been received and that were still accepted *grin*

Dieser Tage konnte ich endlich ein paar Geschenke fertig machen, die schon lange, lange ueberfaellig waren!! Ich freue mich, dass sie gut angekommen sind und dem Empfaenger gefielen *grin*

SI - Sketch

At Stempelhuehnerhof the new challenge is a sketch... I used it for a Christmas card, cause somehow, Christmas is coming quite fast.....

I used stamps from WMS and added quite some glitter on the snowflakes, but it is difficult to see, cause there is NO SUN in this country (meaning Germany) and for this it is difficult to catch the sparkle, although sun was promised in the weather forecast!!! *sight*. Well, could be good for crafting then....

Im Stempelhuehnerhof ist die neue Herausfoderung ein Sketch ... ich habe ihn in einer Weihnachtskarte umgesetzt, irgendwie kommt Weihnachten gerade sehr schnell nahe....

Dazu wurden Stempel von WMS verwendet, die Schneeflocken glitzern eigentlich schoen, aber in diesem Land gibts ja keine Sonne (ja, ich mein Deutschland) und so ist's schwer fuer die Kamera das einzufangen - obwohl die Wettervorhersage doch Sonne versprochen hatte!!! *seufz* Na gut, dann ists vielleicht Wetter zum Basteln....

SI - Halloween

The challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof is 'Halloween' ... I love Halloween, but this year, with all the changes around, it is just passing by me :(( ... so the least thing was a card for SI. For this, I pulled out the old and still veeery good set of WaltzingMouse - I love that witch! Don't you have to love her too??

Ich find ja Halloween total klasse, aber mit all den Veraenderungen die es dieses Jahr in unserem Leben gibt, geht es irgendwie an mir vorueber.... das wenigste was ich tun konnte, war diese Karte. Dazu habe ich ein Set von WaltzingMouse hervorgezogen, dass aus ihren ersten Tagen ist und das ich immer noch klasse finde! Muss man diese Hexe nicht einfach moegen??? Ich find sie einfach klasse!

Where words fail...

Where words fail, music speaks (Anderson) ... I just loved the music set from PTI with musical instruments and this nice quote. I think this will be perfect for a music present on Christmas. What do you think??

Dieser tolle Spruch von Anderson und die Musikinstrumente hatten es mir beim diesem Set von PTI angetan. Ich glaube es ist perfekt fuer z.B. ein musikalisches Weihnachtsgeschenk. Was meint ihr?

SI - Schwarz/Weiss/Orange

The new challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof for Saturday is a colour combo - one could go in direction of Halloween, but I deceided for a non-Halloween card. I love this set from PTI with the orcid, dosn't it look pretty?! As for the rest, the card is simple, only some glitter and lines added and the courners sponged!

Die neue Samstags Herausforderung (SI) im Stempelhuehnerhof ist eine Farbkombi - mit der man in die Halloween Richtung gehen koennte, aber ich habe mich fuer eine normale Geburtstagskarte entschieden. Das Set von PTI ist sooo klasse,ich hatte mir schon lange eine Orchide gewuenscht und so brauchte nur noch ein paar Glitzersteine und gemalte Linien und gut wars! Wuensche ein schoenes Wochenende - Regen ist gut zum Stempeln.....

Weihnachen all Year....

Diese Karte wurde fuer die Herausforderung 'Weihnachten das ganze Jahr' im Stempelhuehnerhof gemacht... aufgepasst, Weihnachten ist kommt immer furchtbar ploetzlich.....

SI - Double-embossing

At SI Stempelhuehnerhof, the callenge is to emboss twice, like Strolchi- once with embossing powder and also with a folder! At first, I thought, *mmmh-difficult*, but once I started to look for a stamp and a folder, that would fit together it began to roll...

I needed anyway a neutral card and I think the stamp from PTI combined with a folder (leaves) from Cuttlebug does not need a quote. In fact the double embossing makes it very elegant, I love the depth, that this card got.

Im Stempelhuehnerhof heisst die neue SI-Herausforderung, 'Doppeltembossen' nach Strolchi

' - einmal mit Hitze und Embossingpowder und dann noch einmal ein Folder dazu. Erst dachte ich *hmm - schwierig* - aber als ich mich dann hinsetzte und in meinen Stempeln und Folder wuehlte, was wohl zusammenpassen wuerde, fing ich an Ideen zu haben...

Ich brauchte sowieso eine neutrale Karte, ohne Spruch und ich glaube der Stempel von PTI kombiniert mit dem Blaetterfolder von Cuttlebug kann gut alleine stehen. Das doppelte embossen bringt eine tolle tiefe in die Karte und macht superschoene, elegante Karte, oder?

Habt noch einen schoenen Tag im wunderbaren Altweibersommer - der uebrigens nicht von den alten Weibern kommt, sondern von einem alten Wort fuer weben(waiben). Gemeint ist, dass man die alten Spinnweben durch den Tau in dieser Jahreszeit gut sehen kann!

Musenannaeherung - Mojo sensing...

My Mojo is not yet proper back, but we are sensing each other.... important is, that I feel that I want to stamp again, ... it could mean, that a major stress wave is calming down and I am getting back to myself.... It is great to have such a wonderful hobby like stamping!!

Well, the arriving of my PTI order made it definately easier for the Mojo to get out of the shade...

Meine Muse ist noch nicht ganz wieder da, aber sie spickelt irgendwo aus einem Koffer ... wichtig ist, dass ich wieder Lust zum Stempeln habe,... das bedeutet ein wenig, das eine extreme Stresswelle am abflauen ist... ist es nicht schön so ein tolles Hobby wie Stempeln zu haben!!!

Gut, die Ankunft meiner PTI Bestellung hat da sicher auch einiges in Bewegung gebracht.....

A new beginning... Ein neuer Anfang

Our new beginning in Germany is done. We moved and are back to the internet world of crafting with forum, blog and everything else, we have to do as a stamper (like ordering *grin*)...

Here a pic of my new working place, two days ago my desk, container and a shelf arrived and now I am starting to feel slowly home. As you can see, a lot of my stamping stuff made it in my suitcases and came with me to Germany.

All what is missing now is the mojo and stamping can beginn.....

Ein neuer Anfang ist in Deutschland gemacht, der Umzug ist vollbracht und so langsam komme ich auch an. Wir sind wieder ans Internet und Telefon angeschlossen und so kann ich wieder an der Internet-Bastelwelt teilnehmen in Form von Blog, Foren und Bestellungen *grin*

Hier ein Bild von meinem neuen Arbeistplatz, mit neuem Schreibtisch, Regal und einem Rollschrank. Wie ihr vielleicht schon ein wenig erkennen koennt, hat es doch einiges meiner Stempel- und Bastelsachen in den Koffer geschafft und seit vorgestern komme ich wieder an alles ran und koennte stempeln.... nur die Muse ist noch nicht ganz da....

Sometimes you have to say good bye

Dear Readers,

I want to thank you, for passing by often, for leaving nice and encouraging comments and sharing my passion for paper and stamps!

It will be quiet at this blog for some time. .... Sometimes, things in life change and need ajustments, but I am hoping, that in a month or two, I will be back - online and with my crafting stuff around.

As for the moment, I leave you some 'good bye' cards - made for the SI at Stempelhuehnerhof, where the challenge is to say 'good bye'

Meine lieben Leser,

erstmal will ich mich bei euch bedanken, fuer die vielen Male, die ihr mich hier besucht habt, fuer die vielen lieben Kommentare, die ihr mir hinterlassen habt und die immer ein Ermutigung waren weiter zu machen mit meinem Hobby, Basteln mit Papier und Stempeln und es mit euch zu teilen.

Es wird nun fuer einige Zeit still werden, hier auf meinem Blog. Manchmal bringt das Leben Veraenderungen und man braucht Zeit, sich wieder an die neuen Gegebenheiten anzupassen. Ich hoffe aber, dass ich in einem Monat, oder zwei wieder 'online' sein werde, von meinen Bastelsachen umgeben.

Fuer den Moment bleibt mir nur, euch zwei 'Abschied' s-karten hier zu lassen, die fuer das SI im Stempelhuehnerhof gemacht wurden, dort ist das Thema 'Abschied'!

Ich wuensche euch weiterhin viel Freude beim Basteln... bis wir uns wiedersehen!

WMS Blog Waltz

Sorry, I am late... our internet situation has been dramaticaly getting bad. First a big cable, close to our next telefon center has been stolen from the ground, so half of Sharm did not have landline telephones. Then another big cable under the sea, going to Europe has been cut and left big parts of Egypt without mobile phone - that all in all made a huge overload on the rest of the resuming phones....

But now on to my cards. First card, background from WMS, just stamped it in several colours and was amazed, it still turned out good. Cup, teapot and spoon from PTI, can you see the silver spoon with the sparkle? wouldn't you just like to have one like that?

Second card was made with a real teaback. Background dots and zickzack ist made with WMS stamps and the quotes are from PTI

Hope you like these cards a bit - and cross fingers for me, this cable will be replaced soon!

SI - Opposites Attracts

I saw this first at SCS and thought I will put it for this week's SI at Stempelhuehnerhof.

Think of the color weel - choose a color and use also the opposit color - Yes, the task is that simple!

I chose orange - and opposite - blue! I never would had come up with this color combo - but wow it worked well!

I habe dieses Thema bei den Splits gesehen und dachte es waere gut fuer das SI im Stempelhuehnerhof diese Woche. Denke an das Farbrad - such dir eine Farbe aus und nimm die gegenueberliegende Farbe mit dazu - so einfach ist die Aufgabe diese Woche!

Ich hatte mir Orange ausgesucht - und gegeueber liegt Blau! Eine Farbkombi, die ich jetzt nicht unbedingt so gewaehlt haette - die aber klasse rauskam!

Der suesse kleine Elefant ist von Hein Design, den hab ich schon lange und liebe ihn ueber alles. Der Spruch ist von PTI
