...und 4

...and 4 - this is the fourth Christmas card... the fifth and the sixth are one the way, but somehow life came in my way.... I am sure you know that kind of thing!!

A very sweet crafting friend reminded me, how nice craft and white looks together, I paired it the the Sketch from Waltzingmouse #17 (well, yes, a bit twisted, I know) and I wanted to start my 'camel-production' because I know, at the end, this is what everybody wants... camels.... *sight*

The bg is from WMS stamp and so is the quote. The camels are from Just Right, originally there was another quote, but I masked it away... and added gold with a gold pen everywhere. Don' you think the bg looks like white Poinsettias? (..just say 'yes' LOL)

und hier kommt meine 4. Weihnachtskarte! Die 5. und 6. sind halbfertig... aber ihr wisst ja wie es ist, das Leben hat manchmal andere Plaene mit einem, als Karten machen *seufz*!

Eine liebe Bastelfreundin hat mich neulich darann erinnert, wie toll Craft und Weiss zusammen aussieht und so habe ich es mit dem Sketch von Waltzingmouse #17 (aehm, ja, also ein wenig veraendert) kombiniert. Ausserdem wollte ich endlich mit meiner Kamel-Produktion anfangen... weil am Ende ja doch alle Kamele wollen *seufz*!

Der HG ist von Waltzingmouse und auch der Spruch. Die Kamele sind von Just Right, original steht da ein anderer Spruch, den hab ich weg maskiert. Dann hab ich mit einem Goldpen den Rahmen nachgezogen und die Sterne reingepunktet. Sieht der HG nicht ein wenig wie weisser Weihnachtsstern aus??? (sagt schon ja!)

Wuensche euch noch einen schoenen Abend... bei mir ist morgen ein voller Tag, mit Putzen, kochen und Gaesten.....

I am way back with my Christmas card challenge - so these are actually the 3 cards of last month....

I took the ongoing SI challenge at Stempelhuehnerhof - 'Vellum' and made some variations...

First, I thought Vellum makes a cold, icy look and came to this card. The opening was was cut out with the Spellbinder label, vellum was attached for the subtle look above the Penny Black quote and also the snowflakes were also added in Vellum. A bit of glitter on the stamped snowflakes from Stamping Duck were added - I love Christmas, just for the sparkle... LOL

Ich hinke einen ganzen Monat hinter meiner eigenen Weihnachtskarten-herausforderung her, dies sind also sozusagen die Karten von letzen Monat.

Passend zum laufenden SI 'Vellum', habe ich ein paar Ideen umgesetzt. Vellum kann ja wie Eis - kalt wirken und so habe ich die Schneeflocken damit gestanzt. Dann wurde mit dem SpellbinderLabel ausgestanzt, sodass der Spruch von Penny Black rauskam und mit Vellum abgedeckt, dass macht ein wenig einen Weichmacher effekt, oder? Zuletzt wurden noch mit den Schneeflocken von Stamping Duck gestempelt und ein wenig beglitzert - ich liebe Weihnachten schon wegen dem Glitzer LOL

The second card was done with a wreath from Penny Black. I first stamped it in green on the die-cut label and added in red the quote from WMS, then sponged the label .... the same wreath was stamped in gold on vellum and the vellum was attached on top of the label. Because the surface of vellum is very smooth, the gold appears much more bright. In the bg is a stamp (Christmas definition) from Stamping Duck and the red ribbon was added, as well as the golden brads on the label.

Die zweite Karte wurde mit einem Kranz von Penny Black gestempelt. Dabei wurde der Kranz zuerst in gruen auf das Label gestempelt und dann der Spruch von WMS in rot dazu und das ganze Label gewischt. Danach habe ich den Kranz nochmals in Gold auf Vellum gestempel und auf das Label mit Brads angebracht. Das Vellum wurde erst fixiert und dann mit Hand ausgeschnitten, genau wie die gruene Matte, die Groesse gibt es ja nicht im Spelli set. Das Label wurde dann mit 3D Pads angebracht. Der HG ist mit einem Stempel von Stamping Duck(Christmas definition) gestempelt und das rote Samtband gibt dem Ganze noch einen edlen Touch, oder?

The last card is an absolut CAS card, with stamps from WMS. Cado inspired me to this card. The star was directly stamped on the gorgeous white natural cardstock from PTI and then the circle was cut out with Spellis. I put vellum behind the circle and stamped the quote on the inside of the card. The golden stars on the Vellum are from a WMS Halloween set. The quote, that shines through the vellum, is actually inside the card, once you open the card... I love the simplicity of that card.... hope you have a good day and see you soon again...

Die dritte Karte ist eine absolute CAS Karte und von Cado inspiriert. Der Stern von WMS wurde direkt auf den tollen weissen Naturton Cardstock von PTI gestempelt, dann das Loch mit Spellis ausgestanzt und mit Vellum hinterlegt. Die goldenen Sterne stammen aus einem WMS Halloween set! Der Spruch, der durchscheint, wenn die Karte geschlossen ist, ist eigentlich innen aufgestempelt, also wenn man die Karte aufklappt zu lesen.... mir gefaellt diese einfache Karte fast am Besten von allen. Is it Saturday today?? ... no, but I am one day behind the Saturday Inspiration at Stempelhuehnerhof. There we were asked, to use Vellum.

I had to wait until I am back at my desk, to make my first idea come alive... the airplane from PTI is pulling two banners from vellum behind. The bg was stamped with stars in blue, silver and black and sponged in blue and black. The airplane was coloured with a silver pen. The banners were cut out and put on (half) 3D Pads and sewed with black thread. Somehow I missed 'something' on the card - so what would be better than buttons, LOL

...nein, es ist Sonntag und ich bin nur einen Tag zu spaet drann mit der Samstags Inspiration im Stempelhuehnerhof. Dort heisst das Thema 'Vellum' oder auch Architektenpapier genannt. Es war mal eine zeitlang sehr Mode und ueberall zu sehen und ich dachte, es muesste mal wieder hervorgeholt werden. Die erste Idee die mir in den Sinn kam war mit einem Set von PTI - das Flugzeug zieht Vellumbanner hinter sich her und wurde mit einem Silverstift angemalt. Der HG wurde mit bluen, schwarzen und silbernen Sternen bestempelt und in blau und schwarz gewischt. Die Banner sind auf (halbe) 3D Pads gesetzt und mit Faeden angenaeht. Irgendwas hat mir dann doch noch gefehlt auf der Karte - und was ist besser als Knoepfe LOL

Elephants for my sister!

I can't believe the month is over... somehow time is going faster and faster and faster....

Since I am in Cairo for some unpleasant Doctor appointments, I have nothing new for you, but.... I made a PIN-book for my sister some time ago and my sister was kind enough to make pics now - since I forgot (OMG - getting older and older...)

She wanted elephants and pink (we all are still in Thai -fever LOL!) so I took the little elephant from Hein Design and added leaves from PTI on the nice natural PTI cardstock. The quote is from Stamping Duck. I used a golden pen, as part of the Thai-touch, and some Rhinestone brads. The whole book was made with registery cards and the 'Bind-it-all'. Extra for my sister, I imported pink bindings, which I like myself very much and have already some projects in mind... just the time... where did my time go....

Ich kann nicht glauben, dass schon wieder ein neuer Monat ist... irgendwie wird die Zeit immer schneller und schneller. und schneller ...

Da ich im Moment wegen ein paar Arzt-Terminen in Kairo sein muss, hab ich eigentlich nix Neues zu zeigen... aber, - was Altes *grins*. Meine Schwester wuenschte sich ein PIN-Buch, am Bestern mit Elefanten und in Pink (wir sind alle noch im Thai-Fieber LOL) so habe ich mal wieder meine Hein Design Elefanten rausgekramt und dazu die Blaetter von PTI genommen, sowie der schoene Natur-Cardstock von PTI. Der Spruch ist von Stamping Duck. Fuer mehr Thai-Feeling wurde das Ganze noch mit einem Goldstift untermalt und ein paar Glitzerbrads dazugenommen. Gebunden wurde mit Karteikarten und dem Bind it all und ich habe dafuer sogar extra pink Bindedraht einfliegen lassen... der gefaellt mir nun selbst sehr gut und ich hab noch ein paar Ideen dafuer im Kopf.... nur die Zeit, die habe ich noch nicht dafuer gefunden....

Leaves for the 'Royal Photographer'

At Stempelhuehnerhof the 'Royal Photographer' challenged us with a wonderful photo of some leaves. Immediately the set from PTI 'Turning a new leaf' came to my mind.... but it needed a major power cut, where you can do nothing than stamping (no PC, Tel, TV works, heh!) to finish this card!

The colour combo is a bit unusual for me, but should work for a young girl - may be,- that's why I added also some glitter to the flowers(taken from 'Life'-set) Then I added a quote from 'Everyday button bits'-set and the die cut is also from PTI, buttons had to be added, to balance the pink a bit...

Auf dem Stempelhuehnerhof beim Hoffotograph wurden wir mit einem tollen Bild von Blattern herausgefordert! Sofort kam mir das Set von PTI 'tunrning a new leaf' in den Sinn ... aber es brauchte einen mehrstuendigen Stromausfall (nix geht mehr, kein PC, kein TV, kein Tel heh ... nur Stempeln geht noch!) um es zu verwirklichen.

Die Farbkombi ist etwas ungewoehnlich fuer mich, aber fuer ein junges Maedchen sollte es durchgehen, deshalb hab ich auch noch ganz mutig Glitter auf die Blumen (aus dem 'life'-set) gemacht! Der Spruch ist aus dem 'Everyday button bits' und auch die Stanze ist von PTI, die gruenen Knoepfe sollten das Pink ein wenig ausbalancieren....

At Saturday Inspiration Stempelhuehnerhof the new challenge is and old challenge - black/white... to make it more interesting, +1 is added, which means, you can add one more colour of your choice to make a pop to your card.

I decided to go for red and dusted of a Penny Black Stamp - they are really so nice and do not get unfashion. The quote is from PTI as well a the die cut... all in all the card was fast and I love the outcome.

Fuer die Samstags Inspiration im Stempelhuehnerhof heisst es schwarz/weiss... eigentlich ein altes Thema, deshalb wurde noch das +1 hinzugefuegt, was bedeuted dass man eine Farbe seiner Wahl hinzufuegen darf, um etwas hervorzuheben, der Karte ein Spotlight zu geben.

Ich habe einen alten Stempel von Penny Black abgestaubt, die werden wirklich nie unmodern und dazu den Geburtstagsspruch von PTI genommen, auch die Stanze ist von PTI. Die Karte ging wirklich ganz schnell und gefallen tut sie mir auch noch.

COWABUNGA

Do you know what COWABUNGA means??? ... Yes, you do... mmh, guess this means I am expired, I had no idea, but found this word in Waltzingmouse stamp set 'Free spirit-Sentiments' ... well I was really puzzled... and if you are too, click on the link and you can read it up yourself, pretending, that of course you knew! LOL

This card was originally started for one-layer Wednesday, but some time ago, - when I started it, I realized quickly, that I will not make it into the one layer... hmpf, instead, they became three ... also I had challenged myself to make a card with Waltzingmouse Halloween set 'Wanda's Pantry set' - that is not Halloween themed, ... so this one, was successful, the lizard is from that set and that (strange)word just fits with it, doesn't it?! Although it is not surfing, I know... , just nonsens...*giggle*

Wisst ihr was COWABUNGA heisst???... waaaas, ihr wisst das??... mmh, na dann werd ich wohl alt und bin out, denn ich wusste es nicht und musste es extra nachschauen. Gefunden hatte ich dieses Wort als Stempel im Waltzingmaus Stempelset 'Free Spirit - Sentiments' . Wenn es euch so geht wie mir, dann koennt ihr auf das Wort klicken und nachlesen (Englisch, aber ihr versteht das schon, ist nicht so schwer!) ... dann koennt ihr so tun, als ob - klaro, ihr das gewusst habt!!

Diese Karte hatte ich mal fuer eine One-layer-Wednesday Herausforderung angefangen, aber dann schnell festgestellt, dass es mehr Lagen werden... hmpf, nun sind es drei geworden. Ausserdem hatte ich mich selbst herausgefordert, aus dem Set von Walzingmouse 'Wanda's Pantry' eine Nicht-Halloween-Karte zu machen (war Bestellungsbedingung *kicher*) ... und ich denke, das hat geklappt, die Eidechse ist aus diesem Set und dieses (komische) COWABUNGA, passt doch irgendwie klasse dazu, oder? Ich weiss das die Karte nix mit surfen zu tun hat, ..... ist einfach nur nonsens.... *lach*

Voucher-ritis

I needed more vouchers... or should I say more training ? LOL

The first one had to be very fast, within half an hour... so I started out, with the leftovers of yesterdays' voucher... and there were MANY leftovers ...the second voucher, fell together quickly, also leftovers and an idea that was still in my mind - this one is a spare voucher for now- because obviously I will need them eventually...

All stamps used here are from PTI sets and also the rickrack is a PTI die cut and felt.

Der erste Gutschein hier musste innerhalb einer halben Stunde entstehen und ist bereits weg... der Zweite entstand dann noch so hintennach ... alles aus Resten von der etwas anstrengenden Gutschein-Kreation von gestern ... und ich sags euch, da gab es viiiiieeeeellle Reste!

Voucher

I am inviting some ladies over for a massage (to exercise on them - hehe - don't you tell them!! ) and better, then telling them -you are my Guinea pick- is, to wrap it in a voucher ;)

Somehow this card did take a big effort from me and added some grey hair on my head. Things just would not work out the way I wanted... this is the result, not great, but a beginning, I will have to make some more vouchers, so I hope they are getting better in future.

The card can be personalized by adding a name in the left ticket - and the sofa is on 3D Pads.

At Stempelhuehnerhof the SI Challenge is 'die cuts' - here I used the tickets from PTI.

Ich will eine Freundin einladen, (als Versuchskaninchen, zum Thaimassage ueben) psst nicht sagen das sie mein Versuchskarnikel ist*lach* ... ich dachte, besser als sie ein Kaninchen zu nennen, ist ihr einen Gutschein zu geben LOL

Aus irgend einem Grund hat die Karte ewig gedauert und es ging mir nicht gut von der Hand ... dafuer habe ich nun bestimmt ein paar graue Haare mehr auf dem Kopf! grmbl - so ist das Resultat auch ehr so lala... aber da ich wohl noch ein paar Gutscheine brauche, hoffe ich, dass mit der Uebung die Sache wieder besser wird!

Im linken Ticket kann dann der Name des Empfaengers reingeschrieben werden. Irgendwie wollte ich die Tickets noch wischen und habs wohl vergessen... naechsten Mal, wird alles besser... Das Sofa ist auf 3D Pads gesetzt.

Im Stempelhuehnerhof heisst die SI Herausforderung 'Stanzen' - hier habe ich die Ticket Stanze von PTI genommen. Alle Stempel sind alle von PTI.

It is time for a spooky WM - waltz...

... and since I just love to participate, I sat down and did at least a card. There was no time for a spooky project, that I really would have liked to do, but I thought better a card than nothing.....

I mixed up the 'Halloween Party stamp set' from last year and this year's 'Wanda's Pantry stamp set'. - Masked of the unconsciousness - part (LOL) and the frame and added the cauldron instead and some glitter . It is a one layer card and all in all came together in half an hour but I like it and hope to create a 'treat' for someone later, that will go with the card!

Now I am looking forward to see your projects and can't wait to waltz around... bye and see you at your blog!

Es ist wieder Zeit fuer den Waltzingmouse Blog-Walzer. Ich war etwas spaet drann und so musste es eine schnelle Karte werden! Ich haette gerne ein Projekt gemacht, aber dazu reichte es nun nicht mehr, naja, dabei sein ist alles....

Ich habe mit dem 'Halloween Party stamp set' von letzten Jahr gearbeitet und auch mit dem 'Wanda's Pantry stamp set' von diesem Jahr. Dabei habe ich bei dem Ticket nur den Teil mit dem ohnmaechtig werden wegretuschiert und auch den Rahmen und statt dessen den Hexenkessel verwendet und ein wenig Glitzer. Das Ganze ist auf einer Ebene (one layer card) und ging ziemlich fix! Vielleicht finde ich spaeter nochmal Zeit ein geeignetes Projekt dazu zu kreieren....

Nun freue ich mich darauf zu sehen, was die anderen so geschafft haben zum Thema Halloween und bin dann mal unterwegs.....

I know I am way behind, these stamps are from the last Waltzingmouse release, or was it already the one before??? ... Their last release was sooo good - I would have ordered it all!! Good I am in this far distant place, where orders arrive after two month or more - I really makes me reconsider what to order - and then after two month, one realizes, that you do not need all those new stamps... but when it comes to Christmas, *thinking* I do not have musical notes and a nutcracker is also not in my collection..... oooh how I wish postal service would be better here *sight*

Anyhow, coming back from Thailand (and my mind is still full of Thai impressions), I got these lanterns stamp set and I show you a pic in one of the markets and you will see, how it inspired me to the following card!

Ich weiss, diese Stempel von Waltzingmouse sind von der letzten Neuerscheinung, oder war es gar die davor??

Die letzte Neuererscheinung von Waltzingmouse war mal wieder soooo gut *seufz* ich haette einfach mal alle neuen Sets bestellt! Na ein Glueck wohne ich so weit weg, auf diese Art und Weise denkt man wirklich darueber nach, was man bestellt und nach 2 Monaten merkt man, dass die Stempelsets, die man vermeintlich UNBEDINGT brauchte, nicht mehr wichtig sind! ... auf der anderen Seite, fuer Weihnachten schaut das alles doch ein wenig anders aus und ich habe noch keine Musiknoten und auch keine Nussknacker in meiner Sammlung... *seufz* ich wuerde mir schon manchmal wuenschen, dass die Post hier besser funktioniert *seufz*.....

Auf jeden Fall ist das hier nun das letzte Set, das mich gerade eben erreicht hat und es passt wunderbar zu meinen Thai-Eindruecken .... mit diesem Foto, aufgenommen in Chiang Mai 'Sunday Walking Market', koennt ihr sicher verstehen, wie ich auf diese Karte kam....

SI - Baeume

Everywhere the signs of the fading summer are obvious. Mostly it is the trees, that show us that the end of summer is coming. At Stempelhuehnerhof SI we are challenged to show the trees - may it be Christmas trees, or fall trees....

I decided to go for the autumn trees, at least the colours are autumn. The stamps are from PTI and the scallop is a die cut from PTI - and finally there are the beloved buttons again (you will see more soon :-) ...)

I have to keep this short, because I am still busy with my visitor - enjoy your weekend...

Ueberall sind die Anzeichen des weichenden Sommers offensichtlich. Meist sind es die Baeume die einem zeigen, dass der Sommer zu einem Ende kommt. Im Stempelhuehnerhof SI werden wir aufgefordert 'Baeume' zu zeigen, seien es nun Weihnachtsbaeume oder Herbstbaeume....

Ich habe mich zu Herbstfarben entschlossen mit Stempeln von PTI gearbeitet. Auch die Stanze beim Filz ist von PTI - und endlich konnte ich mal wieder Knoepfe verwenden LOL

Ich mache es kurz, denn ich will meine Zeit mit meinem Besucher verbringen - also schnell eine schoenes Wochenende fuer euch dalass und weg bin ich wieder - BYE!

Welcome

I have a dear visitor coming and needed a welcome card to put in the guestroom. At Stempelhuehnerhof the SI challenge is an easel card with an extraordinary shape. So I used the challenge for my welcome card and took the flower shape from Spellbinders and stamps from Waltzingmouse for the card.
My teacher in Thailand gave me some homemade Ginger and because I know, that my visitor will like that, I shared with him and made this little glas fitting to the card.
Hope you and my vistior will like the set and wish you a good weekend. Here in Egypt the Ramadan/fasting time is coming to an end and we all are busy getting ready for our vaccation... See you...

Da ich lieben Besuch aus D bekomme, habe ich einen kleinen Willkommensgruss fuers Gaestezimmer gebastelt.

Im SI im Stempelhuehnerhof hat Mona die Herausforderung gestellt, eine Easelkart mit besonderer Form zu machen. So wurde der Willkommensgruss eine Easelkarte mit Stempeln von Waltzingmouse und einer Spellbinderblume verarbeitet. Meine Lehrerin in Thailand hat mir selbstgemachten Ingwer geschenkt und da ich weiss, dass mein Besuch das auch liebt, habe ich geteillt und das Glaesschen passend zur Karte aufgehuebscht.

Ich hoffe es wird ihm und euch gefallen und wuensche euch ein schoenes Wochenende. Hier geht die Fastenzeit langsam zu Ende und wir freuen uns auf ein paar Tage Urlaub und Entspannung ... bis bald wieder

Bin wieder da...I am back..

I am back home in Egypt, but still need to overcome the jetlag. My head is still full of impressions of Thailand and school ... it was definitely a good time and a successful trip!

My desk seem to be very distant in the moment and we need to get friends again LOL ... my mojo is obviously hiding somewhere else ... well I started by removing the thick layer of dust today and hope in the coming days there will be some attempts of friendship again...

Meanwhile I will show you a card, that I made before leaving.

Stamps: leaves, quote and frog from PTI and grass Beeswax

Ich bin wieder zurueck, in Egypt - auch wenn ich mein Jetlag noch ueberwinden muss. Mein Kopf ist noch voller Eindruecke von Thailand und der Schule - es war eine tolle und erfolgreiche Zeit!

Mein Schreibtisch erscheint mir im Moment noch gaaaanz weit weg, ich glaub wir muessen uns erst wieder ein wenig anfreunden - meine Muse scheint sich irgendwo zu verstecken ... nun ja, ich habe heute mal einen Anfang gemacht und die dicke Staubschicht auf dem Schreibtisch entfernt, in der Hoffnung, dass ich in den kommenden Tagen wieder ein wenig eine bessere Beziehung zu Schreibtisch und Muse bekomme...

Derweilen zeige ich euch eine Karte, die schon vor meiner Abreise entstand. Die Stempel sind alle ausser dem Gras(Beeswax) von PTI
