....and after all the cardmaking I wanted to give myself a treat and made this little bird house - of course, in the same colors *laugh* ..... I saw it first at Stempelmagie's awesome blog, but she actually gave a link to Capture the moment,where you can find the instructions ... I ended up nearly breaking my fingers from fiddeling, but think, that this is the cutest thing ever. I made a pic on my hand, so you can imaging the size.... it's realy, realy small...

Nach dem vielen Karten machen wollte ich mir noch was Gutes tun und hab dieses kleine Vogelhaus gemacht. Ich hab es zuerst auf Tanjas (Stempelmagie) wunderbarem Blog gesehen, sie hat dann einen link zu capture the moment gegeben, dort ist auch die Anleitung zu finden. Meine Guete, ich hab mir beinahe die Finger gebrochen, das Teil ist soooo mini, aber wirklich ganz, ganz suess. Ich hab das Bild mal auf meiner Hand gemacht, damit ihr eine Vorstellung von der Groesse bekommt.

Sock-parade - Sockenparade

I saw this at Laureen Maeder's Blog and thought that was realy cute. She has a great blog full of ideas and especially now in a time where you need little presents she is always a good source. As you can see, each sock has like a basket inside and can be filled.... I added on every one a bit a different tag.... after the first ajustments, this was a real fun project... stamps from SU, LELO Design and Flamingo Arts, the top of the sock is a cuttlebug folder.

Ich habe diese Socken (oder auch Stiefel) auf dem Blog von Lauren Maeders Blog gesehen und dachte, dass sie nett zum Nikolaus sind. Laureen hat immer nette Bastelideen und ich gehe oefters mal bei ihr vorbei schauen. Die Socke hat innen ein Koerbchen und kann befuellt werden aussen hab ich an jedes Teil ein kleines Tag gehaengt. Nachdem ich mir einige Kleinigkeiten (Groesse) angepasst hatte, hat es unheimlich Spass gemacht.... stempel von SU, LeLo design und Flamingo Arts, Oberteil der Socke Cuttlebug Folder

I am in the moment into mass production, because I have a market at the weekend coming and yet not enough stuff.... so when I make a card, I try to make several ones.... similar, to gain time.

... da ich am kommenden Sonntag auf einem Basar verkaufe, bin ich in die Massenproduktion gegangen. Deshalb stempel ich ein Motiv immer gleich mehrmals ab und mache dann aehnlich Karten. So sind auch diese beiden Maeuse entstanden, mit meiner geliebten Penny Black Maus. Der HG ist von Flamingo Arts, Frohe Weihnachten von Stamping Duck.

SI - Schnee - Snow

Aus gegebenen Wetteranlass dachte ich an "Schnee" als Thema für heute im SI im Stempelhuehnerhof.... und da ich durch meinen Besuch immer noch im Verzug mit allem bin, kommt die Beispielkarte heute auch von mir.
Wie ihr den Schnee dabei darstellt bleibt voellig Euch selbst ueberlassen... ob als Schneeflocken, gestempelt, gemalt, gecuttelt, ausgestanzt oder als 3D mit Fun Liner.... lasst Euch was einfallen und zeigt es mir. The week is nearly finished and because I was so busy with my visitors, Mona took over SI and had a great idea for the challenge.... present wrapping and stars.... go over to her blog, she had also an awesome idea....

Die Woche bei SI ist beinahe um. Da ich so beschaeftigt war mit meinen Besuchern hat Mona mich vertreten... und dann gabs ja nur ne Verlaengerungswoche *oops* . Mona hatte das Thema Verpackung mit Sternen gewaehlt und auch sie hatte eine tolle Idee, es ist echt wert auf ihrem Blog vorbeizuschauen.... das obrige Bild war meine erste Arbeit

Then today I finished something else... I found that basket some time ago on Blog of Laureen Maeder und liked it. It was original thought to carry two cups... and I saw it also filled with a wellness set(candle and shampoo)... I liked both ideas and filled mine with two gorgeous chocolade banana muffins... also not too bad, heh....

Dann habe ich gestern Abend noch dieses Koerbchen fertig gestellt... ich hatte es auf dem Blog von Lauren Maeder gesehen und es hat mir gefallen. Sie hat eine tolle Anleitung dort und orginal ist es fuer zwei Papierbecher gedacht, die gefuellt werden koennen. Ich hatte es auch irgendwo mit einem Wellness-set (Kerze und Shampoo) gesehen, das fand ich auch gut. Da mir gestern Abend nach backen war, hab ich meines mit zwei superleckernen Schokoladen Bananen Muffins gefuellt... auch nicht schecht, oder? *gins*

Not that you think I was lazy...

......in the last two weeks. Actually I was crafting with my sister, which was extremly fun and pleasure for me and I miss her like hell *cry*.
While my family was here, I made their Christmas presents, everybody got a calendar from our Zambia trip....

....nicht das ihr glaubt ich war faul in den letzten zwei Wochen, ich hab schon gebastelt, hatte nur keine Zeit was online zu stellen. Ich hatte ja meine liebste Schwester da zum Basteln und ich hatte grossen Spass mit ihr zusammen zu werkeln und vermisse sie nun wirklich heftig *heul*

I am back.....

I am back from our trip to the Black and White desert - in Bahaira, the Western Desert of Egypt. It was soooo, so beautiful and fascinating - I would highly recommend this trip to anybody who has a feeling for nature and desert.
We went with our car and it took us about 4 hours drive from Cairo. Then we arrived to our Hotel - a simple and clean, cute place with a hot spring. The water comes 45C hot out of the ground and contains iron - so it looks quite brown.... but when you come from the desert, it is great, to straightend out you broken bones in that hot pool!!!

First we went to the Black desert... it is made of Basalt long time ago, there have been vulcano erruptions.... and looks like everything has a chocolade topping ;-)

Then we moved on to the White desert....here some impressions, let your imagination run wild...

...at the end we had a look at the Cristal Mountain...

All in all it was a beautiful trip.... and I would love to go there again...

It was supposed to be a treat for myself! When I saw this set from SU I knew, I wanted it, to sort out the mess in my kitchen. I have so many receipes collected, just put down on a note, and stuck in any cooking book. As most of the times, I need it first for others (and my turn never comes), so this is going to be a Christmas present.... hope the person will like it.
First I made the box, with the new Scorepal it is really a piece of cake! I used a weel from SU for decoration.
Then I made the index cards,... this took me some time to deceide. The colors are unusual for me, but I thought, colors in the kitchen makes cooking fun!
There is a stamp for the actuall receipe cards, but I deceided to use this premade index cards, because you can get them everywhere. So if the receiver of this set wishes to add more cards, no problem. I just stamped aditonal the categorie, 'from the kitchen of' and 'yummy scale'. Actually I am happy about how the whole thing turned out and hope to have the time, to make one more for myself ...

Eigentlich sollte das ja fuer mich sein. Als ich dieses Set bei SU sah, wusste ich, es ist ideal um mein Rezeptedurcheinander zu organisieren. Ich habe so viele Rezepte nur auf Schmierzettel notiert und dann in ein Kochbuch gesteckt, aber, wie meistens wird dies nun erstmal an jemand anders gehen. Es soll ein Weihnachtsgeschenk werden und ich hoffe, der Person gefaellt es!

Zuerst habe ich mal eine Box gemacht, das ist nun echt Fun, da ich mir den Scorepal geleistet habe. Zur Deco habe ich einen Rollenstempel vn Su verwendet.

Dann habe ich die Indexkarten gemacht - das hat am laengsten gedauert, da ich mich nicht so richtig uber das 'wie' entscheiden konnte (nun ja, inzwischen war es 9Uhr abends). Die Farben sind etwas ungewoehnlich fuer mich, aber ich dachte die Kueche kann Farbe vertragen, damit das Kochen Spass macht!

Dann habe ich die einzelnen Rezeptekarten gemacht. Eigentlich gibt es dazu auch einen Stempel mit Linien. Da ich diese Box aber verschenken werden und die jetzigen, fertig gekauften Indexkarten ja ueberall als Nachfueller zu bekommen sind, habe ich mich entschieden nicht zu stempeln. Gestempelt ist dann noch die Kategorie (Fleisch, Suppe, Salat etc) und dann 'From the kitchen of' und ganz rechts (das find ich besonders suess) 'Yummy scale'- da kann man dem Rezept dann Sterne verleihen. Ich muss sagen, das Ganze gefaellt mir selbst supergut und ich hoffe noch eines fuer mich zu schaffen.

Mit diesem Post verabschiede ich mich dann mal fuer eine Woche, da ich mit meinen Gaesten busy bin.....ich hoffe ihr hattet Spass darann meine Sachen anzuschauen und wuerde mich ueber einen Kommentar freuen.... Bis bald wieder...

Als Zweites habe ich mal wieder einen Kalender gemacht, diesmal in bordeaux/ rose... es soll ein Geburtstagsgeschenk fuer eine liebe Freundin werden. Dieses Kalendarium von A Muse Art hat sich wirklich bewaehrt und ich hatte Fun, auch ein paar meiner neuen Stempel einzusetzen.

The first...

Yesterday I was extremly busy.... I cancelled lunch and worked all day, because today I am going to have visitors, so everything had to be finished yesterday....

First I made something that I have seen at SCS Monday Technique, it was supposed to be a Christmas tree and had a loop to be hanged in the tree. I changed it a bit and took it for my visitors as a welcome treat, filled with something sweet, to be put on their beds and deceided to make a bow instead of the loop. I printed and cut out the template, took it through the cuttlebug and added the tag with the SU quote... it was fast and easy to do and looks supersweet....

Gestern hatte ich total viel zu tun, deshalb wurde das Mittagessen gestrichen und geschafft, weil ich ab heute Gaeste habe und alles vorher fertig werden musste. Zuerst habe ich diese kleinen Pyramiden gemacht, es ist eine Idee von SCS Monday Technique und urspruenglich sind es Weihnachtsbaumanhaenger. Statt Haenger habe ich eine Schleife gemacht und stelle dies nun meinen Gaesten als kleinen Willkommensgruss mit was Suessem gefuellt aufs Bett. Ich habe dazu nur die dortige Vorlage ausgedruckt und ausgeschnitten, das Ganze durch die Cuttle gezogen und mit dem TAg versehen. Spruch von SU. Es war einfach und schnell zu machen und sieht doch supersuess aus, oder?

A friend of a friend, of a friend....

....is going to get married.... and they asked me to make the table cards for the wedding. The theme of the wedding will be '1001 nights'.... so I suggested this stamp from Flamingo Arts and in cooperation with my friends we came to these colors and design.... at the end, I thought I can not just give the cards like that and made a little, fitting box(hehe, guess I am box addicted) for them, with a little card attached.....

...Freunde von Freunden werden heiraten und das Thema der Hochzeit ist '1001 Nacht' .... ich sollte die Tischkarten dazu machen und so habe ich diesen Stempel von Flamingo Arts vorgeschlagen. In Zusammenarbeit mit meinen Freunden kamen wir auf folgende Farben und Design....

...und da ich es nicht einfach so abgeben konnte, hab ich noch schnell eine Box dazu gemacht (hehe, bin wohl immer noch im Boxfieber) und eine kleine Gleuckwunschkarte angehaengt.

In the last minute I submitted this card, tomorrow there will be another Inspiration photo ... since the photo was from me, out of my India trip photos, I really wanted to participate. Also I wanted to use the new stamps from Stamping Duck, that I have been waiting for such a long time. I love the ducks on the wooden logs and sponged it with Baja Breeze and since I had the sewing machine anyway out, I did some real sewing on the card. I was fun! The quote is from SU. I felt something was missing on the left side and added a Rhinestone... may be the brown tag is a bit too long, it should have been kept shorter, but, oh well..... its done and finished....

In letzer Minute habe ich noch eine Karte fuer den Hoffotograf gemacht. Schliesslich war das Foto aus meiner Indienkollektion und schon deswegen wollte ich teilnehmen. Ausserdem waren da ja noch die neuen Stempel von StampingDuck, die noch ausprobiert werden wollen - die Enten auf dem Steg gefallen mir unheimlich gut. Der Spruch ist von SU. Ich hab das Ganze mit Baiblau gesponged und da ich sowieso die Naehmaschine draussen hatte, hab ich echt genaeht. Das macht immer Spass! Irgendwie hatte ich das Gefuehl, es fehlt noch was auf der linken Seite und deswegen habe ich einen Rhinestone angebracht... aber das laengliche TAG ist vielleicht ein wenig lang geworden... tja, nu isses so, da kann man nix mehr machen ....

SI - distressed

At Stempelhuehnerhof, the SI-challenge was to make a card with distressed edges..... the suggestion came from Tina, she made a beautiful card, go over to her blog and look at it, it is worth it. As for me, it was rather a fight... this card I started already before we left to Germany, but did not have the time to finish it... so I just distressed the edges now and here we go... stamps from Penny Black, 'wind caressed' and 'nature's dance' and the quote from Inky Antics.

Im Stempelhuehnerhof heisst die neue SI Herrausforderung -"distressed". Der Vorschlag kam von Tina, sie hat eine tolle Karte dazu gemacht, geht mal bei ihr vorbei schauen. Ich hatte eher einen Kampf mit dem Papier, die Karte hatte ich schon angefangen, bevor wir nach D sind... und hatte keine Zeit mehr sie fertig zu machen... nun hab ich einfach die Raender noch distressed (naja, so dolle ist es nicht geworden) und das wars dann auch schon *oops*...... Stempel von Penny Black: 'Wind caressed' und im HG 'nature's dance', Spruch von Inky Artsy.

Germany was cold... the first day we even had snow, but it was gone the next day and then we had some beautiful autumn days, with great color and moods.... here I have some black forrest impressons for you .... enjoy...

Deutschland war ganz schoen kalt... den ersten Tag gab es sogar Schnee !!! ...aber dann hatten wir ein paar schoene Herbsttage... mit Nebel und Sonne.... hier hab ich euch ein paar schoen Schwarzwald Momente eingefangen.... viel Spass beim Anschauen....
